DomiNations v10.1 Update

Greetings Leaders,

DomiNations v10.1 Update is starting to roll out now featuring several bug fixes, including corrections to Aircraft flight paths, and structure placement.

• Additional changes to aircraft pathing to help with intended flight behaviors
• Fixed an issue where retraining a Unique Nation unit would display a standard unit information window.
• Corrected the ability to place structures in front of the Museum building
• Added one additional level to the following structures:
  • Stable
  • Missile Silo
  • Spike Trap
  • SAM Turret
• We bid farewell to Pompus as he takes off for a well-deserved retirement. Pompus has served us all tirelessly and introduced you to many first experiences throughout the ages. While he may be going into retirement for some well-deserved relaxation, fear not for he has left you in good hands! We are pleased to introduce you to Sophia, who from this day forward will guide you to glorious conquest as you continue to advance into the upcoming Drone Age! To celebrate we've included a brand new Sophia wallpaper!
• Fixed an issue where University Research time reduction would appear to go beyond the 85% cap

 

Does anybody else faces the same glitches as I do after update?
1) Betrayed units (HT) with lowered HP regenerate into full health after first hit from defenders.
2) zooming out the city map is no longer possible
3) no free videos are working anymore - I have typed nearly ten times already

 

We need more strategy! Destroy museum and this new version of museum with characters called Council. This pure lucky tools, no strategy. You cannot attack a base based on there level or constructions, you need to consider that your MK you spend 3 years evolving have only 50% health because some aleatory artifact in museum could be found.

We're certainly looking into the video issue and apologize that it isn't as immediate a solution nor as easy as we'd like. Unfortunately, some older devices would have issues trying to play the videos, because of that we're still looking into giving an alternative for these players.

If you could, however, submit a CS ticket Here and give some more detail on the other two issues we could get these looked at. Lastly, not necessary, but helpful on our end, if you could add your Player ID to your forum profile it can help speed up the process too!

Thank you for your reply. ID updated, I have never had issues playing videos before this update. Other iPad device, even older one, is working fine retrieving all videos in 20+ seconds. I will leave a ticket for other observed glitches for you just to check this out. Thx

I have stopped to send anything to your CS. As long they are responding with standardised bot answers, including the request for screenshots even if this is not possible, it’s a waste of time. We should do the work you all are payed for. You don’t do appropriate testing, you don’t talk with your customers.

 

Not sure when it happened, but Landmines are upgradeable now.

 

seria bueno que las actualizaciones traigan mejoras reales de juego o desarrollo , de errores viejos muy viejos o innovación real para convertir un juego que en siete años solo aumento niveles a los edificios y edades . No cambio la dinamica real ni agrego cosas que lo quiten de su monotonía . Amo DOMINATIONS, estoy desde sus inicios, a veces me cansa que sea todo igual , pero puedo tolerarlo , viendo que no hay inventiva . Pero los errores...... Esos que subsisten desde aquel entonces ... Y los nuevos cada vez que agregan un edificio pffff , eso me la baja mal . Que me importa si me aconseja un viejo o una niña de fan service , quiero poder hacer una multi sin que el juego se cierre o que no me desaparezcan cosas del inventario y más quiero no tener que justificar hasta el color de mis calzones cuando tengo que reclamar algo perdido.

After reporting to CS the ticket was closed today without any clue. Thinking this buggy game is just wasting of time and no fun anymore. No answers, no compensation, no effort.

Sorry to hear that Tomik, are you sure they didn't reach out at all? If they receive no response to an inquiry after an extended period, I believe a week, they close out the report. I hope that was just a mistake and totally can understand where you're coming from. But definitely resubmit a report it does help tremendously on our end to get to the bottom of these types of errors.

Be sure to regularly check in on a report you submit too as they may have further questions to try and duplicate the error you're getting so they can better understand how they might fix it.

Sorry, but there was no further CS reaction for this type of my issue/ ticket at all. I think I am not the only player affected and I don’t fully understand how is that possible not to have this type of issue on 5year older iPad with older iOS version... submitting tickets again and again is like throwing rocks on the wall. We scream but nobody listens to us. I will resubmit hoping it is not just another time wasting action for us all. Thx

We appreciate it! Thank you for the kind words. We certainly hear and see you all. While not every fix is as easy or swift as we'd like we're still working hard to make sure we're all playing in a fair and fun environment.

 

Can you add in a way to trade resources for speed ups?
