Greetings Leaders!
Our v9.9 ‘National Trade Goods Rebalance’ Update will begin rolling out to Google and Apple Stores shortly! Read below to see what’s new.

National Trade Goods Rebalance
Please Note: These changes will not take effect until after we force all players to update to v9.9
  • Nations will now be able to drop 1 of 4 National Trade Good types, with an increased chance at dropping their original "Nation specific" National Trade Good
    • 5 Star victories will always award 2 National Trade Goods
    • 4 Star and 3 Star victories will always award 1 National Trade Good
  • Modifiers that grant an increased chance at National Trade Goods will now grant a chance for a bonus National Trade Good
  • Players can now trade National Trade Goods at Marco Polo at a 3 for 1 rate
    • 1 of these trades is available at Marco Polo at one time
    • Trades cycle each time Marco Polo’s shop is renewed

New Legendary Artifacts
Please Note: These Artifacts are to be released in the coming weeks.

  • Flamma’s Helmet, a powerful War Legendary Artifact focused on increased attack power and slowing down an opponent's ability to retaliate
    • Increased Guerrilla Hitpoints and Damage
    • Increased Enemy Defender Spawn Time
    • Increased Rally Duration
    • Increased Missile Silo and Big Red Button Damage
  • Lycurgus Cup, a versatile Peace Legendary Artifact with the ability to loot more oil
    • Reduced Enemy Defensive Towers Damage
    • Reduced Invading Bomber Hitpoints
    • Reduced Factory Troop Training Cost
    • Increased Generals' Hitpoints
    • Increased Oil Looted
  • Narmer Palette, a covetable War Legendary Artifact with a focus on attack and health
    • Reduced Invading Fighter Damage
    • Increased Air Defense Damage
    • Increased Bomber Hitpoints
    • Increased Fighter Hitpoints
    • Increased Bazooka Hitpoints
  • The Helgo Buddha, a defense-focused Peace Artifact aimed to hasten research in the University and Library
    • Increased Quick Victory Time
    • Reduced University Research Time
    • Reduced Library Research Time
    • Increased Defender Hitpoints
    • Reduced Invading Bazooka Damage

  • The following Buildings are receiving 1 additional upgrade level

  • All Factory Troops are receiving 1 additional upgrade level

Bug Fixes and Improvements
  • Several scrolling improvements on Seasonal Leaderboards
  • Seasonal Leaderboard tutorial should no longer cause a game crash

Hey, thank you for the upgrades.

I'm willing to spend my speed upsn and crowns for those new units.

Just one question, what is the difference between the previous nation trade goods and the new update?

That will be great to hep us with that, so many researches and more stuff I've been doing that I do not know what is the exact change.

What are the stats for the upgrades? How much for the factory and how long? How much and how long for the ht? Etc. Providing these numbers is very beneficial to the players.

Also, rip any defenders. Lots of offense added and virtually no defense.

Did this release already on android? I am playing on iOS and since our last war started there is a player on the other team that we cannot attack or scout. It is telling us to update first. 11 hours into the war and I still can’t attack that person.

I tried attacking within the first hour of war starting so the other player must have updated way before it is even available for me to update?

CS is of course useless on this one and just says “keep checking for an update”

this will be a crappy way to lose a war if the update on iOS doesn’t release

New troops are invisible and sometimes can't be attacked at all omg another fail update please please sell the company to a group who actually cares

Hopefully the NTG changes will mitigate the usual shortages of certain ones that everybody goes for at the same time, so I'm cautiously optimistic about that. All the other items are meh. Expensive or distant things people haven't asked for, and none of the things we have asked for. Whatever happened to that big survey you did a year ago or so where you tried to listen and respond to player feedback? Just putting in longer term tracking of parliament donations among alliance members would make me much more excited and grateful than anything listed here.

The NTG Rebalance sounds like we are getting 1 less NTG going forward. I currently get 3 + 1 NTG for 5*. With this rebalance, does it also mean the required NTGs to form Coalitions is also reduced? If not, then this NTG Rebalance sounds like a raw deal to the players.

You get more trade goods due to university research and maybe some artifacts. They edited just the base values. All in all this should be a good rebalance for all players. Even if they did not reduce the amount of required NTG for Coalitions.

Nice that you actually tried to fix the bad NTG situation. Can you tell us the chances for the drop of not "traditional nation specific Trade Goods" Leviathan ?

The new NTG system in general is good. I like having 4 options for a resource. However, the original NTG nation should take precedence. I just attacked a Greek base because I need scrolls. 5 star victory, but instead of 5 scrolls I get 5 tea instead and I don’t need tea, my tea is full. I’ve been avoiding Chinese bases because I don’t need tea! I don’t mind the extra resources I get thanks to Bjorn, but when I’m shopping for a specific NTG the original nation should still be primary. Unless you want to remove the cap. I don’t mind getting more tea if I can actually collect it. No point getting more when I’m capped at 30.

Argh! It just happened again. I attacked Korean this time and got 5 tea and only 2 porcelain. I don’t need tea I need porcelain! 🤬

This is taking forever now. If I can’t cherry pick, I have to go back to just attacking everyone and hoping I get what I’m looking for. I used to be able to buy coalitions and refill my NTGs usually in less than an hour. Now it’s so random it’s going to take all day. BTW, I have 30 tea already, and after 30 minutes you guys owe me about 50 which I looted but was unable to collect.

Not happy 🤬

I’d say the chances are good, at least for Greeks. I attacked Greeks about 15 times to refill my scrolls and each time I was only getting 1-2 scrolls, but I was getting anywhere from 4-6 tea on nearly every attack. Unfortunately I never needed any tea on this go around.

It could be possible that the Greeks are just broken. I didn’t have as much trouble trying to get cheese, porcelain, and marble from the French, Koreans, and Romans respectively. Maybe their native NTG got programmed in reverse. It may be meant to give 5 scrolls and 2 tea.

New system for NTG is bad very very bad. Its gamble. For example made 20+ attacks 7 of them where Japanese nation, hunting for silk. Also using Björn and all of this 5 star attacks I got 2 silks. New system when you need one or 2 NTG is much worse then before.
You should make it that you 100% get for 5 star attack 3 NTG of nation you attack plus Björn and 2 aditional NTG for 3 rendom NTG is pick. Its very irritating as it is now. NTG becomes much more bigger problem then before this update. Honestly do your dev team thing abouth new things or just launch it?

Agree. 5 star victory shouldn't be a ''chance'' of that nation's ntg, it should guarantee that ntg - plus a random.

I'm getting almost nothing but tea from multiplayer attacks now. It takes much longer to even decide if I want to attack a base because I have to look at the four NTG icons instead of just noticing the nation. And then it still doesn't matter because I just get tea. The new NTG system is terrible.

Today they fixed the bug; the new system appears implemented as originally intended, now, as opposed to being broken due to a bug related to associated NTG research in the university.
