Effectiveness of Redoubt Level 3

Do Machine Guns (Redoubt Level 3) buildings suppress troop movement and damage? If they do, is it only at Level 3 and above? And is it all troops, or just infantry?

Redoubt Lvl3 is called the Machine Gun (Building)

Im upgrading mine to this now (all 12 days of it, SIGH) .. the reason I decided to do these first over my cannon is that I get a few fast raiders attacking my base that can dodge cannons easy but the redoubts then take care of them, well most of them. Redoubts and MG Buildings also act as pretty good air-defense as well remember.

At any level they're good against massed troops but like anything they get more effective as you upgrade, no?

The question is if it suppresses attacking troops like machine gun units do. Suppress as in reduce damage and speed of troops.

I don't think they have suppression effect at any level, machine guns (factory troop units) are the ones that have it

only thing is, the factory heavy machinegunns are as thick as bricks, hit regroup and they start firing at some random bit of wall lol

dont use them?? lol its not like you CANT have them on your map. you have to use them. Mine are great at stopping those pesky raiders wanting my oil

arh yip, I wasnt reading back sorry (self uppercut given). Ive just finally completed the Bgate after god knows how many days so Im sort of inclined to use my HMG guys till my tanks arrive
