We used to get new players left and right and now........ almost nothing for a long time. We are at around 40 members now so should be visible.

Maybe the game itself is getting less new players. We are experiencing the same thing. And we are nowhere near being a top alliance, even though we have been around for over a year now. We have an alliance score of 8990 and are no longer filling up after kicking inactive members.

And as far as the subject: It is an obvious issue if so many alliances are having problems when these alliances are such a wide variety in members total. It is unfortunate that it is souring the experience for so many people.

Will, that's the most specificity I've heard. Mind sharing how you learned this?

We too are incredibly upset by this issue. No new members in weeks

Yeah, been like that since day 1, once you have 46 members the alliance won't appear in the 'Join an alliance' window anymore. Only way for new people to join is to search for it or find it on the leaderboard.

And no joining for us as well. Annoying

Honestly, the problem is the majority of the time a player searches for an alliance randomly, all that are available are "dead" alliances. I left one before the update, and had no problem finding a very active alliance. In fact, there was a long list. I recently left that one a few times to invite folks from the old, (as the leader and co were no longer active) and took the time to investigate this issue further. Every once in awhile, one with 45+ would pop up, (about 1/7), but 95% of the time they were filled with members that hadn't been online in weeks or months. After the one with 45+, however, the only available options were 1-3 member alliances. I did this for about a week. If further proof of this statement is needed, leave your alliance for a few and try searching.

So, in short, active alliances are not being displayed for people to join. Searching name specific seems to be the only way to join one, unless you happen to be one of those lucky few that have won the lottery or been struck by lightening in the "off line" world. (Both are real fun.)

No facts to back this up, educational guess. When you see the Join an Alliance! options they won't show any alliances with 46-50 members unless you search by name.

It also appears they only advertise open alliances and only ones that the player meets the medal requirements.

Porcupine USA Elite Will Many thanks to you both. This is most helpful. - I would strong suggest* joining the Line group that the OP has started. Good group there with some interesting ideas on how to get the Developers to pick up on this issue.

I recently just posted this to the Line group that Jolly the Wise began, but I am posting it here too. According to the GM's, this issue is now under Evaluation. I would strongly urge everyone to continue and report this as an issue if your alliance is continuing to have the problem. The GM's are listening. Now is the time to make yourself heard. Let them know that alliance recruitment is struggling. Please share. See attached pics.

Seems like more people are finding us through game search. Before, the update prevent people seeing the more established active alliance first, so they might change something with the game search.

Nothing has changed as far as most alliances affected by this are reporting after the maintenance of earlier today. We're now discussing in the Line group what further action can be taken.
