I and a lot of other players are in the Southern Hemisphere Nexon, you know, the one opposite from the north where you are I bet.. why the heck cant you start your events to be more in line with a slightly more practical time down here!? Getting sick of either waiting up at some crazy time in the ultra a.m. or leaving it and logging back in at a 'normal' time only to have my game hours and hours into an event.
Comon!

[sized and bolded for that wow in ya face Nexon factor :D ]

Or just change it up to keep us guessing. Last I checked my base getting attacked didn't follow any kind of schedule or TZ preference. I wouldn't mind if event times varied. Seems fair to me.

Seriously?? This is a first world issue in Oz?? <face palm>

Youre really into the face palm thing of late arent ya, ok heres the deal, you face palm, I call you ' me old puddin', deal? ;) Yes start times are a big tick in the side. I like to complete most events and starting them for diff time zones would be a bonus.

They base the start/stop times of the events based off of UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). UTC is interchangeable with GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) and is actually a commonly used way of time tracking and keeping. UTC has basically become a standard for IT or and technology based companies. This game is also played world wide and Nexonm cannot favor one time zone over another to start the events. So, it makes perfect sense for them to use UTC. For ease of tracking - they even included UTC time in your "Inbox". I'm with Ravenlord on this one. Not really something to complain about. Just my two cents.

They are favoring one side though, the players in the NH. Keeping it as level as possible doesnt make event start times at 3am over here every single time.

UTC has nothing to do with North - South, time differences are East - West.

Midday can be the same in London and some Southern Hemisphere place, like Tristan De Cuna or some base in Antarctica.

And to keep the military feel they should have used Zulu time just to confuse even more people. :)

Again, another event starting AUS/NZ time like 2am!! So effectively we're missing hours of play to help make the event, maybe nexon think we're all vampires or something..

24hrs are 24hrs.. if the event starts late at night and you miss those 4/5 hours you will have them back at the end, we finish the event at 4 pm, while you have an evenig and a night more
