Hi everyone!

This week we're discussing War Tacts: which ones do you love? Which do you ignore? Have any ideas on new Tactics you'd like to see?

As usual, please be polite and on topic!

Protect is by far the best, it's extremely versatil. Combined with armor blessing, it's 33% more hitpoints, 50% less damage during 40ish seconds and since I use 3 healers, my army generaly takes a huge advantage over defense early in the battle and I capitalize on that for the remainig time. This is an effective way to 5 stars the enemy base. Sabotage is interesting in some very specific spot, like 3 mortars packed together. First aid is useless because of supply cart, barage is also not helping in higher age when planes and riflemen destroy defensive units very easily. And It's safe to say 99% of players think that betrayal is worst tactic ever. Little effect, huge cost. Also it takes very long to produce. We should have a blessing to accelerate their production

One tactic that could be cool is diversion. When you cast it, some fake units appears on the battlefield. They don't do damage but attract defensive units and shots from defensive building. Another idea: kamikaze. Units in the radius have something like triple or x4 damage but dies at the end of the effect. Maybe they all shift their focus on defensive building to avoid people use that on raiders spam.

Frenzy tactic: have unlimited rally without cooldown period for a short period of time. The idea is to magnify micro mangement skills

Change the stat description on betrayal, as it's confusing. ...Proceed to then buff it immensely.

I dislike it when people attack me with 50 raiders and a single protect tactic.

Surprised to not see much more answers on this, I thought people would have lots of crazy ideas for new tactics :) Maybe a re-post in the General Discussion section could help gain some traction?

depends... raiders or mix of soldiers+HC+cannons+healers+archers - protect, soldiers are nasty when protected
archers+cannons+healers - more often I prefer sabotage

No!! stop telling that some tactics useless because of some troops are better than that tactic. Developer will nerf that troops. Its always happens.

Probably because I don't like them much - they are basically spells and in another game the Academy would be the Wizards House.

Because of these magic spells and the other nuisance - weapon & armour blessing - it makes getting the actual troop balance much harder so we get nerfs. You can't have Tank + Armour & Weapon Blessings + Protect + Healing Spells being so OP it becomes a comedy game, so each gets tweaked and becomes a mess.

Without the magic spells Tanks could be finely balanced - the Academy should be for real tactics, like putting a platoon of troops together with a commander, like football tactics.

Correction, this war tactic is absolutely useless for everything BUT the heavy tanks. How is a dude in an enormous tank coaxed into becoming a traitor? I'll tell you, it's appropriately named, because I do feel betrayed.

I only use Protect, Demolition and Sabotage.

I would go on to say Protect is the best tactic bcz the 50% less damage taken within the entire group upon rally is a little helpful to keep them alive longer and simply, the redt of the tactics were not so fantastic mainly bcz of the training time. My next tactic is Demolition bcz I use a combat of praetorian fusiliers with some archers + few noob cuirassier and 3-4 cannons plus 2 healers. I think Protect is the less risk compare to Demolition.

I hope to see a similar tactic of "Berserk" which adds 15%-20% attack and similar radius or period with Protect.

The tactics training time simply too long.
