Flood Gates have opened on us

So in less than a day we went from 16 in our alliance to 47. Of course we have always been set to minimum medals and open but never have we seen such a fast influx of new peeps. Finally got one of them to answer us saying that we were listed in the "alliances to join" screen (whatever that is or means). Guess it's time for us fairly new newbs to be teaching a bunch of really new newbs on what to do and not to do. Anyways, wish us luck, I think we're going to need it. BTW, maybe two of the newbies have a clue on what a wall is and how to use it.

Grats, it happened to us about four months ago. We struggled for a month trying to get to 10 people to start having wars. Finally reached 10, fought some wars and hovered around 15 and then all of a sudden we got ~35 in a day and were full. We eventually had to put in a medal count to control population a bit.
