Full HP generals recharging for many hours after fight

This is annoying me a lot. I do a battle, clear the enemy 100%, end the fight with general at 100% HP, just to see him recharge for 6 hours, or 10 hours, or whatever. I know the reason for this: the recharge time does not take into account supply cart healing. If a general drops to half HP, then gets healed to full, the game still counts him as half HP for the recharge. This is stupid. I'm not sure whether it's a bug or intended, but I'd love to see it changed. A general that comes out of a fight at full HP should remain available.
