I will again point to the fact that other similar games significantly reduced their training times. I'm guessing they make more money that way, otherwise they wouldn't have made the change. Dominations has some of the longest training times in the genre! FIVE HOURS to retrain all your tactics is ridiculous.
It's only part of the story. We have an idol for that. With added trees and mine it's not that bad

Believe it or not Nb4, players have good ideas when it comes to actual gameplay too. Worth passing on, in other words.

ok, so 3 hours best case with blessing. That's still about a factor of 3 longer than other games

Most other games do not have blessings though. Training is longer in Domi but there is a way to reduce the length of time. With blessings the training time becomes less than what I observed in COC.

The training times were fun but a permanent boost of 50% to troops and 75% to tactics would be ridiculous. There are plenty of bases to loot from while only losing a few troops, if you're losing most or all of your army while raiding you're either not very good or you have high medals which is your choice. Enabling a permanent boost just encourages people to carelessly attack whoever they want requiring no skill or strategy.

Good point, I completely forgot that aspect...in Domi you get to keep your troops if you win...most others you lose whatever you deploy no matter what. It's not this black/white issue they make it sound like.

Maybe you haven't played COC in a while. Spells only take 10 minutes to train now, without real money.

Clone spell takes 20 min, others are 10 min. Used to be longer from what I recall. But I think because the games are so differently setup it's comparing apples and oranges. Yes, Domi tactics take more time, but one can argue they have more impact and with a blessing training time gets pretty close to COC. For troops the training time has a similar scenario where some are about the same training time as COC and others are more, but with blessings the difference is negligible...and then add that you get to keep your troops and I personally prefer how Domi is setup. Saves time if you know what you are doing. In COC, after one full attack you are waiting again for all your troops to train...and you can't speed it up, unless you use gems. So 5-6 attacks per hour is the norm in COC, I definitely do more in Domi.

Couldnt agree more.
Also, 6 tactics might take a few hours but, unless you're all out warring, 6 tactics can easily be used sparingly over 1 or 2 hours. This games has it's challenges but they're not difficult - especially if you're constantly learning while playing.

Take away the challenge and you take away the skill - as Rorchach said.

Yes, it's a challenge, but waiting isnt fun.
Sadly, the way it is now with the long training times, the majority of Dominations isnt fun.

Here's the point: It was fun last weekend with the shorter training times.

Shorter training times can be done different way. With the speed up troop training time SUPER BLESSING which costs a little more trade goods and/or even few crowns - like 1 crown for 1 hour ;) They can also always add airplane speed up training blessing, and blessings for generals. Something to force us to use just a few crowns (not more than 10 crowns at once! - micropayments!) from time to time, and not keeping them forever ;)

This game is fun even with long training times, that's a fact, otherwise you and everyone else would have quit a long time ago.

Readyman, if shorter training times are fun then maybe you should petition Nexon to give us a blessing or something that'll help .........

Oh wait - there's already something there. Now grow up and play the game.

I've never played any other game like that. In CoC what is the cooldown time between battle?
