Cairo was founded in 969 as the royal city of the Fatimid Dynasty. It later served as the capital of Saladin's Ayyubid Dynasty and the Mamluks. The city was originally protected by a strong wall with many gates, and the vizier Badr al-Jamali had a second wall built around it in 1092. Today only three of the mighty gates of Cairo still remain standing. (Event lasts from 14:00 UTC 9/28 until 14:00 UTC 10/2.)

33% is very disappointing.....we got 50% all summer and my guess is most people feel that 50% will be the standard.

Not at all, there have been plenty of 33% sales prior to the summer of the ages. This isn't the same deal as the summer of the ages, it is a continuation of what we had before. Just be glad that we are getting any sort of discount.

actually i would have spent some crowns to free up workers if the bunkers were 50% off. i cant do that at 33%.

I did a bunker level 2 and 3, and built my 2nd to level 1 during the event, I wasnt able to farm the oil for level 4 during the event.

i cant use this discount, my oil storage isnt big enough for me to upgrade my bunker to level 4 even with the discount.

Not everyone has to take advantage of the sale. It is a privilege not a right. Get your oil capacity up and when the next bunker sale comes around you will be fine.

I do walls no matter what when they are offered, and i did a sniper tower. But lets be honest, most of us only care about the oil discounts. Last week i spend 700 crowns to speed up a research so i could get 2 more oil researchs done during the event. This week - 0 Crowns spent.

Lol why do you think they only care about your personal number of crowns spent? The majority of the people who can afford a 50% discount can also afford the 33% discount. You are in the small subgroup where it actually makes a difference. Nexon is still raking in crowns on this event for the people who can afford both discounts and are likely making more money because people will have to buy more oil if they don't have enough. Nexon tailors sales for the many, not for the few. There will always be some people who can't take full advantage of a sale but there is no reason to cry over it, there will be a new sale next week.

Poor business model then. As a business they should want to include as many people they can in any event. The more people that are willing to spend crowns the better, but by all means exclude people and make less money.
