So after I finish all my library and wall upgrades, I'm going to go to Medieval. What are the best generals for Roman with Colosseum and Hanging Gardens (will change to Acropolis maybe)?
I currently have a defensive base but I might change to farm as I am classical and have ~620 medals, and it's harder to find easy bases to attack.
Any tips and suggestions?

All the generals are good, you get the first 2 right away I believe so just alternate between them as you keep upgrading them. Also, I would suggest lowering your medals.

I don't think we can choose Generals. When you get the castle, you get two generals: Alexander and Cleopatra. This is in Medieval age. You can't upgrade Castle to level 2 until you reach GP. When your Castle is Level 2, you get two more generals. However, in Medieval age, you can upgrade generals upto Level 5. The Generals and Castle are independant of the wonders. They have no effect on them.

And as a general tip, you should lower your medals. You can then find easier bases to raid. You can lower your medals by dropping just one of your units on the base and surrendering. I don't think you need to change to a farming base simply because you're accumulating medals - unless you want to switch for other reasons.

Also, if you have the Colosseum, switching to Acropolis is a great idea. It will spawn troops faster from Colosseum, Garrisons, and Stables. Hope this helps!

If you want easy loot, just cook up an army of raiders & 2/3 wall miners (the miners are for those great white buffalo bases with 150k+ loot). Send in a few raiders to hit the farms, vans, & storehouses that aren't behind walls then end the battle. You'll lose medals but gain loot, rather quickly I might add using only raiders. Keep doing that until your medals are back to 200. You'll find plenty of abandoned bases & lower level players for easier raids down there. Don't worry about medal count until you get to GP/EA, just worry about getting the gold & food required to get there first 😁
