Take it a step farther. Create a "War Room" where people can post challenges and the groups challenged can opt into a war. Doesnt have to be in the same context as the regular war feature. You can agree on a time, pick battle royale or a set amount of players, select a time limit (1 hour, 3 hour, 6 hour for example). No scouting or planning day since a specific time will be agreed upon and most players will be online the same time. Also have the option of up to 4 alliances at a time. The first 2, 3, or4(depending on the amount chosen) that agree will battle.
