The issue with the Goals screen is that it is limited to 3 goals on your Goals popup screen. Many times I'll have completed a goal that isn't on the screen and will only be able to claim my "reward" once I have passed or failed a current Goal that is on the screen. This list should be at the very least be "Scroll able" so that you can look at your available goals and try to accomplish any of them at any time instead of waiting for a specific goal to disappear and then moving onto more achievable goals.

I'm having this save problem. I can't claim any completed goals that's are not listed in the first 3 listed. And cannot see the state if the others for the savs reason.

What is the issue?

There are two tabs - goals, and achievements.

The achievements are a long scrollable list of things you will do over mostly extensive time playing the game. 87 of them right now, 29 with three levels each. You can only accomplish each one once, and you can make progress on all of them over an unlimited period of time (as long as you play the game).

The goals are things that might happen within a 1-3 day window of when you are given the goal. They are time limited (expire if you don't complete them in time), you can only have up to three at once, and you can do the same one many times over across the course of playing. Each time the clock expires or the goal is completed, and you dismiss them or claim your reward, you are offered a new one from the set that rotates. You are not making progress towards any that are not shown as current goals. If you complete too many goals in a short time period, you may not get offered a new one immediately after completing the last, but it will eventually go back up to three.

The overlap is that there are certain "goals" that are not time limited - like building a tower, or upgrading and researching in your library. Those are to push you towards building or trying new things in the game. Up to two of your three goal slots can be filled with those type of goals, and there are two different categories (buildings and research I think, only one of each at a time). They will not go away until you have completed them, and there are a limited number of them - once you finish all of the ones available in your age, there won't be any more of that type of goal until the next age. You can make progress towards these without being able to "see" them - one goal is to complete your missile silo, and if you have done this before completing another building that was an earlier goal, you will get credit and crowns for the missile silo one as soon as it pops up.

For the most part, these are things you will want to do anyway, and are just encouraging you to make progress. A few, like researching useless units (no one needs mortars) are annoyances but you do them to get them out of the way.
