Gold and food vanishing

Recently, after a successful raid, the majority of gold and sometimes food I've just acquired disappear. I'm not being attacked its just gone without warning. How many other people are experiencing this same issue?

I've had it happen when I have that spinning computer snake on my screen showing the game is having a hard time connecting/loading. I try not to raid or upgrade until things seem more stable.

I had the same thing on Monday. I've raided for a couple hours, gathered about 800k food, didn't manage to stay online and got attacked. Now, the attack was successful and took 126k food but I was left with about 200k. So the question is where the remaining 474k has gone. Didn't pursue this due to time constrains but it was a noticeable glitch. Hopefully a one time roll back or something. But if it is a remaining and persistent glitch, happening to a wider population, it is probably worth looking into.
