...was a total failure, or are those who are in Enlightnement for the long haul(like myself) stuck with impossibly weakened troops and a disastrous AI? Has anyone read anything official anywhere about this. There are still a LOT of customers complaining over this. Just wonder has this been addressed and I may have missed it?

Nah Chris it's really affecting all of us in the upper ages. People still in lower ages may not see the issues right away. There is the Industrial Age update releasing this week and a lot of us are hoping that its brings some well deserved changes. We'll really only be able to see what (if anything) is fixed after we play for a bit with the new update.

Well... I am sure they know things are not that good. Otherwise, Tim wouldn't be writing that statement message and there would be no need to hire that forum PR agency (it's a joke, okay? No offense ))) however, I still have doubts they acknowledged at least 10% of AI issues we were talking about. Even though I have doubts IA will fix balance issues, as a player I also hope for all the good, fun and fair competition finally.

All that was said was with the release of IA the random wall attacks will be fixed as far as theyve said. other than that, being greek or french is worthless and its still mainly all about being japanese or roman lol.. (im still in french and wish i could switch but i refuse to spend $$$)

As a french you can utilize nation bonus well playing raiders spam and getting tons of gold. 2-6 HC is still more than playable with wallbreaker. No matter what others HC is even weaker

Actually heavy cav are useless with wall miners. The heavy cav will not recognize any break in the wall that wasnt created by heavy cav. Basically heavy cav have a totally different AI from the rest of the units.

Hmm, do you deploy them after wallminer? I deploy them first to be sure where they decide to go and then deploy a wallminer ))) works quite well. The best combat strategy is to find out what kind of combat developers have tested and use that ))) no room for creativity

Theres room for creativity. Wall miners bug out dont explode when surrounded by my other units. This can and should be fixed.

Mate are you playing a different game??!!!

The AI is now awesome, and is possibly the best the world has seen!

I found it hard to believe as well at first, but I've been reading a lot about it recently in the forums.

My army hasn't received the memo yet and are still mindlessly stalking walls and going on scenic tours of villages instead of attacking, etc. But I'm sure the instructions will come through to them shortly. Maybe the memo didn't translate well into Greek.
