Actually, I refuse to believe this game or company is dying or dead. It would mean that we'd wake up one morning and can no longer play this game.
That is unacceptable so I'm just going to keep playing and hope my good thoughts can translate to a positive influence on the company.
Come on, let us hold a virtual vigil ! Let's all join virtual hands and think happy thoughts!

I feel the same... I saw with my own eyes some hacker is selling dominations cheats on his website, and he got even different prices for different hacks. And he put videoclip to prove it, that hacks actually work!
Instant building, fill your storage with gold, food and oil, instant acquire TG and NTG... Unfortunately those hacks are for ios only , and iam playing on android device... hahahahaha

He also fill SH with elephant Archer without participated on war. Lol

I suppose hackers can do in game whatever they like, and that is exact reason why Nexon losing money on this game! Hey developers cheaters are stealing money from you, not from us, fix that if you want to survive!
We are just your clients or product consumers, and we can simply uninstall this game and move on, but you are working in this company, and you have people stealing from you! They are most certainly not in this forum, simply because they don't have problems playing game, they already have everything in game to play comfortable and without stress!
Call your friends in other companies, buy security protocols from supercell, hire new programmers, just do something or you are going down soon...
If you don't wanna invest in this game any more and fix some burning issues , than i think its fair to tell us that publicly so we don't waste our time and money on this potentially good game!

If you noticed some strange disconnection, most of them are because of security check

Hacker is not the main reason of profit drop. The root cause is no new player joined.

if we compare it with another game, Dominations is out for 2years, but it requires 5 year to max bases, another game is out for 5 year but only required 2 year to max.

That's why Domination make 20k per day while another game make 1m per day

I will give you example with supercell game Clash Royale, most popular mobile game ever, you can check it out yourself. They make over 1 bilion usd in less then a year, only because game is so great and fun to play.
Now you have tournament in that game, and prize pool is 200.000 usd, its planetary phenomena with that game, and you need years and years to play, to have max out account, much more than domi... try it, maybe you like it

You cannot compare CR and Dominations. They arent even close to being the same game.

You must compare it to CoC which SinYin mentioned in his post.

Its been out 5 years, takes 2 years to max. Time is a big factor into player retention. If a player gets to a point and realizes its going to take them weeks just to clear a forest, the average player will say, "thats insanely too long, ill go play something else." The time commitment could be overlooked so to speak for some of those players if they had fun in ww and mp. But then those players will see that those aspects are no p2w and the grind is horrible, so they leave for not having any fun.

Do you know that CoC has reduced some building times more than once and not an artificial decrease through a "university research"? Why would they do that if upgrade time didnt matter to players?

The question is what motivate people to invest in Royal and not invest in dominations, and why so many people play that game? When developers understand that, then they will have good game like they use to in the beginning...

But you dont need to max out your account in CR to compete at a high level. If you get good with a deck, you only need to max it out. If you want to experiment in ladder, then yeah youd need to max out other cards, but you can experiment in challenges instead where you only need to get cards to a lesser level. I have 3 4k+ accounts that i only level up my main deck(except my main account has every card to tourney standard)

CR also has a lot of fun weekly events to play in, and i think most people get addicted to the game for the same reason every casino has slot machines.

This is why you cannot compare how long it takes in CR to how long it takes here.

Because SuperCell has a very good development team, they address bugs quickly, they dont release many bugs, they advertise their game, they have a huge youtube base that is also free advertisement, they dont have p2w in their games - only pay to advance faster, their games are balanced, they are active in the community.

I think advertisement is the #1 factor though. I started playing boom beach, coc, game of war all after i saw ads during the super bowl. I no longer play boom beach or game of war though. Other top earning games like candy crush are there because of advertisement to get players into the game, then a quality game that keeps players addicted and want to spend money. A lot of those new players may quit, but before they do they will drop 5+ dollars early on.

LordJestix , strangely enough, Nb4 and TinSoldier have been quiet for the last few weeks, especially when it comes to all the speculating on the forum.
Usually they'll weigh in and try to calm everyone down. Nb4 has been rather quiet for about a month.
