From sunny hot California where it is 111°F! That is not a typo! Anyways, hello everyone. I've been playing Dominations for about a month now and while I really enjoy the game, I have run into a bit of a road block to progression. I just entered Medieval and was trying to expand my base when I realized that my next forest removal would be 400k! Then I found the wiki link to deforestation and omg, really? I'm not sure if y'all understand that at this point I am still raiding for 5-50k resources per battle. That will take forever! I do not understand it at all. Very, very frustrating.

Now good, bad or indifferent, I haven't been worrying much about medals. In fact, I usually just skip ahead until I find a base in a higher age to pillage. I feel a little scummy but I don't see any other way to get resources faster. I would love some feedback if any of you can help. Many thanks.

Happy to hear you have been enjoying Dominations. You can focus on clearing forests later, unless you really need the space. You are going in the right direction as far as medals are concerned. Keep them low and keep farming those bases for loot. I would be happy to help you if you have any questions or need guidance. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum, Nemesis! We'll all be very happy to help you!
For starters, you might want to consider dropping down on medals, to gain resources quickly and easily.
Focus on upgrading your offensive capability. Prioritize blacksmith, barracks, troop upgrades (knight, ranged infantry, to start with), followed by upgrade of library, and the bottom row offensive upgrades (in a shade of red) at the library. This will help you gain resources faster and to be more successful in raids.
You can also consider participating in World Wars as part of an active alliance. This will also get you the much needed resources for your upgrades.
Being in early Medieval Age, you have quite a way to go, but, you'll not be alone, now that you've joined us on the forum! We'll help you all along the way!
