Help Regarding Gate Orientation

Could someone please advise how to change the orientation for the gates.I'm having difficulty changing the gate direction from (lets call it) east - west to north - south. Doesn't make sense that the gates would only work in one direction but I cant find out how to change their direction. Please help.

not sure i understand your problem. gates automatically change direction to "gate" a gap in your wall
if what you are wanting to do is have a gate separate from your walls (for whatever reason) then you will first need to use your walls to switch its direction to the way you want, then move it away to where you want it
if there is a rotate function, i havent found it

It might be that meade has encountered a bug that I have sometimes too, where a gate shows as being in the wrong orientation even though the walls on either side of it are right. Hopefully closing the game, really making sure in your device that its not still running in the background, and then restarting it. If not, well dang, but try moving the gate around several times, maybe putting it by other walls, see if it behaves correctly. It worked for me. If not, well try turning of your phone off and on, submit a bug report.

Easiest way to put in gates, is to set up your walls first leaving a gap for the gate. Then plug in your gate, and you're good to go. Assuming you don't encounter a bug

Thanks everyone who commented. You're right, if I leave a space in the wall where I would like the gate then it will rotate itself. My problem was trying to place the gate first then follow with walls.

If you click on a wall, it shows a rotation button but it's not available yet. So i guess it will come soon
