And finally, nothing better than organizing yourself! 😓
I'm having fun now in a new alliance with 11 members currently, 10 of them are myself 🤣 !
Contact me if you guys need extreme sandbag iron age accounts 😂

i think expectations are a huge part of it. "get as high glory as possible" isn't realistic.

there is a level where you need to use sh and EA troops regularly to have consistent wins.
there's another level (22000+?) where wars are no longer decided by stars, but by time.

i don't think those are fun/competitive but stressful .... so i enjoy being around 20000.

Our last war really created issues because of our opponents. A russian alliance with truly deep pockets. Every base had cold war elephant archers as well as the flame tanks which happened to be on sale. So that pretty much demoralized our gunpowder and under players which were 6 of our 25. It's just a tricky thing to force an industrial to take a classical age base solely because they have the stuff to beat those archers. It's also extremely tricky because people who were only okay attackers suddenly become bad because of the heavy artillery in the tc and the troops in the stronghold. After a lot of back and forth we somehow managed to win that war. 123-120. It felt like the other team got so cocky they didn't log back in the last hour of war which in the last hour we whipped out our impis and racked up 40 stars. These kind of wars are a great moral booster but the lose can cause tension since a lot of players want to chase the resources even before war ends and the outcome decided. But I totally agree with shukra in that once we passed 20-sh K glory, things got much difficult in terms of matchups.

Alright, so I'm back to the same issue with different situation 😅
Since I created an alliance last week, and unexpectedly yet surprising has reached level 2 and going lev 3 with 27 members already without even recruiting anywhere (?!) 😂, now I'm facing a bigger issue.
How are we supposed to coach new iron age players to make them grow rapidly so they could contribute to the alliance?

I think if you read back through everyone's advice you'll get the answer. You will have to kick most of them. Keep repeating your expectations (chat, donate, opt in to war, use both attacks), and only keep allies who meet them. The ratio of good allies to bad is about 1 to 100, so you will be kicking a lot.

For the players who are worth keeping, get them to watch replays of your low level account attacks. Explain what you did and why. Issue friendly challenges and ask them to mimic what you did.

How many times should we give a chance for them? I mean in my last alliance my leader was too kind to keep bad attackers stayed in wars 😄

Your main problem will be low level players not attacking at all. For those that do attack but badly, keep any that are asking how to improve, and kick the rest after 3 wars. Prompt them to ask for advice first though.

Well the positive part is that they would be your sand bags depending on whether you have enough players. But I wouldn't say they are traditional sand bags because they are actually playing so eventually they will level up. The negative part is that they are iron age and really anyone that's low low level in war. I wouldn't say they have to be kicked because most wars won't have someone that they can attack successfully so it's hard to say whether they are bad or not because the odds are insurmountable. We have really good gunpowder age players in our group (One being my lower account) and that account is as maxed offensively as a gunpowder can be while crap defensively because of trying to keep war weight down. But sometimes the matchup has the lowest member of the other side as a high level industrial player so the chances that base can be beaten is very low. That would be the same of an iron base trying to take down anything higher than iron age (Assuming those other bases aren't just throw away bases). I think all that can be done is hope the matchup had someone they can attack otherwise be very patient until that happens because it's not like what they do is going to make or break the result. Only thing they can do it work on their defense until they have the chance to attack. What Tsamu said is correct to me as long as they are in a position to actually do something. If it was an e.a or i.a player obviously they will have a shot just as long as they don't go cuckoo and try to hit a base that's well out of their ability. It's just about going to enough wars and watching all the replays than you can somewhat gauge who can attack what. Even though we are at 23K glory and moving up, my alliance will always have some problems in terms of attackers. We almost always go 25 and of the 25, 7 are really good at destroying things and the rest are very random. Sometimes good sometimes bad and sometimes useless against stronghold troop filled bases and yet we find ways to win because the group has pretty much been the same for almost a year now so we figured out a long while ago who can hit what base. Once you have your core attackers, you can figure out a plan for the rest and as long as the plan is stuck to, no need to kick but you should kick anytime you feel like it's becoming a headache.

Well, I put them in wars but eventually it's me who do (and clean) all attacks 😑, but I wouldn't need to frustrate my self anymore (yet) because I don't have to manage their attacks (yet). Hopefully there will be one or two I can count on as my best man! 🙏

I think the point of view really comes from how long one has been playing the game. Quite a few of us played the game before there was even war and than when war came about a new element was added that actually made things interesting again. Than we had a few that dedicated time to get better at their attacks and pretty much the whole game just revolves around going to war, myself being included. So I would probably be more prone to kicking much sooner than later because war matters to me a lot and other than the delightful chatting with alliance members, only reason for me to log in. Of course it got boring once you hit that lvl 10 cap but became interesting again because of the added levels. You just restarted so you unlikely going to run into stressful moments.
