How do you deal with NTG's/Coalitions/War?

Sometimes I raid for specific NTGs, for example if I want to apply a specific coalition. Other times I skip some bases that offer NTGs of which my storehouse is full, unless they have other stuff to offer. Most of times though I prioritize medals, resources and trade goods.

Generally speaking I don't target a base for specific ntg and even if I did need it, I would still try and find a base that I can raid for resources as well. I guess it depends on your medals count, what league your in and age of base because you're likely to find easier targets when having lower medal count. If you don't raid normally than you're going to have a tougher time. I've had mixed responses from alliance members regarding Moctezuma and using the oil the finish the "Triple alliance" feature but for me it does help out a lot. Granted there are times when I don't get jack squat and just a diamond because the game is perfect but most of the time that third random ntg is helpful. I do maybe an hour-hour and half of raiding a day and usually get a lot of ntg. I am always in war but if it's an easier war than we get lazy and don't even use coals. If you know how much you need you can target that specific nation but I feel like the game is always trying to screw with you and you will not see that nation that often. I just raid and eventually I get enough regardless but I would say never ever crown unless you got deep pockets and the benefit of using attack coals are that you can put them on even if war is in progress. It's only defense ones that are restricted to the pre war planning.
