How's everyone liking this game so far

Signed up a couple of days ago, so far I'm loving it, and I wasnt a big fan of other similar games

yeah loving it too! Love the more realistic slant than say CoC or other similar games.
Feels a bit more like the old school PC games which is nice.
Quite the depth in the game with the troops, civs and upgrades you can do. Like the basebuilding element of it and how your troops can come back home provided you destroy all defensive structures.

Certainly enjoying it, and playing it a bit too much. It's taking me a while to get attack and defense strategy down, but I'm really enjoying the game. It truly hit its stride once I got to the classical age. So much stuff to build and improve, the research in the library really excited me, and the fact that your armies finally get to a bulky and impressive size got me really hooked.

As everyone is already aware, Alliance functionality needs a lot of work. Inviting people is impossible, and there's little incentive to join up rather than the paltry extra units and sense of community. I also think PVP needs a little balancing work. Way too easy to dump medals so you can very easily raid lower age/level people. That said, I'm still enjoying things and look forward to the updates and upgrades I'm sure they have planned.

except for the expected bugs and glitches that comes from being a new game, i love this game better than boom beach (that game sucks! no chance in defense, penalizes players for playing too long, etc). i like that each wonder/nation you select affects your gameplay.

Downloaded it this week, and I'm absolutely loving it! It is a little bit like clash of clans but has own ideas too. Also has a great info about historical events and empires.
Has some bugs, but with that out of the way it's really a great game!
