HT mk7 army before/after rebalance

Hi there,

I'm currently CWA lvl 266 and since a very long time (in fact since I have the HT mk3) I use mostly HT armies and nothing else, even before the rebalance I always used HT on bases where other players switched to howie+bazookas+APC.
I also used 7 decoys and asked for howies as allied troops.

As you all know, decoys have been severly nerfed. So I try to find better tactics to use and thought about first aid. As I never used this one before I would like to have you opinion, is it efficient in battle ? does it stack (if I use 2 first aid, do my units heal 2 times faster)?
I thought about using for example 5 first aid and only 2 decoys (1 for stronghold troops, 1 for castle troops). And also instead of asking for 4 howies, I could ask for another mk7 to have 7 of them. As first aid is the most effective on troops with very high hp like mk7 this could be a nice solution but as I said I'm absolutely not used to first aid tactics, so what do you think ?

Yes, first aid is efficient on heavy tanks in battle but no, they don't stack - if you want to use more than one first aid on the same tank wait until the first one runs out before using a second. Also place the tactic in front of the tank in the direction it's moving so that the tank spends the longest time possible in the green circle and gets the maximum benefit.

Like you I'm still experimenting with which other tactics work well with a heavy tank attack but since anti-tank guns are the biggest threat you might want to use sabotage or demolition to deal with them every now and then (thus not risking your planes). With the latest re-balancing update being implemented today, defending heavy tanks from the bunker get quite a big boost and might also be a threat - one that perhaps could be eliminated with betrayal - but only time will tell

first aid recovers like 80% hp. its like replacing your tanks with brand new ones in the middle of battle.

the biggest threat after rebal2 were land mines. you cant prepare for those so first aid is even more useful than sabo

the biggest threats after rebal3 are rocket armory and defensive ht.

so it might be wise to have 2 First Aid, 2 Betrayal and 1 Decoy for high level generals.

I'm all HT attacker. I was using 7x First Aid even before the rebalances. There is no reason to use Decoy with HTs unless you want to get even more defenders spawned ahead. You can consider the HT as one big moving Decoy. You only need to manage to heal your 'moving decoys' at the right time.

Regarding Stage 3 rebalance, all combos including all HTs combo suffered much. Those defending RPGs and HTs are just insane. War attacks going to be boring, consisting of QV by destroying TC and possibly get one extra star for 50% destruction. Anything more then 3* is just unrealistic (considering 0TT, 0O vs 0D or 3O vs 3D).

It's guys like you who make me glad the decoys were nerfed and wish they were changed to 2 spaces.
No skill in drop and forget tactics like this.

Maybe you should think about 3O vs 0D to get some additional stars, while the 2 (even 3) stars against the 3D should be in the might of your 0A :)
Not even talking about some mixed coals...

Other tactics were competitive with decoy until the nerfed all of those by 50% (space doubled). Now that they nerfed decoy by a lot more than double, we are back to a competitive situation. Looked at in total across both nerfs, they made tactics a lot less useful, but we didn't really feel it until now, because one of the really good ones was left alone. And even strengthened in the meantime - selassie had decoy boosts.

Nexon created the problem by not getting all the relevant tactics at the same time, and waiting a year to finish the job. If they had done decoy with the first lot, many of us wouldn't have wasted our time improving it.
