My frustration express elsewhere has little to do with not getting this information. I was frustrated with sandbagging and bugs long before this added to my frustration. You just didnt see it because I didnt post on the forums until i decided to ask for this information.
Secondly im not asking for classified information, so your analogy is rubbish. Im asking for information we can all obtain through progression. That is why i want a reason they wont provide the information. There is no good reason not to provide this information to the community and if they arent willing i want the community to know why they arent willing.
It looks like we are going to get a new community manager so hopefully this will be addressed then.
Oh I recognize your frustration along with all of the other players, I have read through most of the forum posts I've just chose to be silent about it. Yeah, sandbagging and bugs is a problem but as someone put it. Sandbagging is not a problem under the game developer's control, it's a system being exploited by some of the players in the game. Only way to fix it would be to recall the feature and to rework on it entirely, which would also anger the player base. So wherever you put it it's a lose, lose for them.
My analogy was not suppose to relate to the fact that they choose to not give out the information that you wanted, if it can be obtained through progression then you can find that for yourself. The purpose of my analogy was to point out that they have the right to not answer why. All we know, it could be some big surprise for the community and they just want to keep it secret (it's joke). Yeah there is no good reason to not provide it, but if they can't provide it, then they can't. If they don't want to, then respect that.
A new community manager seems hopeful, hope we don't give them a hard time. If we can't cooperate with them then what makes you think they would cooperate with us?
