I'm being attacked by gunpowder people although I'm in classical :/

Hello all,
I don't know if this issue is being shared by anyone else but in the last week I have been occasionally destroyed by random gunpowder people, though I'm in classical. Obviously I can't attack them in the first place so they wouldn't be able to revenge on me.When I watch the replay of the attack, and it comes to the end evaluation, it says the defender (me) is in gunpowder and the opponent is aswell. I don't understand why I'm being matched with people 2 eras ahead of me and they seem to be coming more and more frequent. It's really annoying as I'm saving up to medieval upgrade yet they just smash the base and obliterate me. I can resist medieval attacks as my walls are OP AF and I know a few AI tricks but gunpowder people just.. well.. yeah

not a bug, you just have high medals. drop down to 300 and you'll be good

Since the leagues have become very useless, the people in higher ages drop down since the league rewards are not very rewarding anymore

Hang on there. When you make it to Gunpowder, it will then be your turn to farm from lower Ages.

At the mean time, it is not correct that you can't attack Gunpowder bases. They have larger bases and are more difficult to secure every building. If you pay attention to the graphics, you can identify whether their loot is from the mills/markets or uncollected in the farms/caravans. You can then drop some cheap foot soldiers to attack the farms and caravans. You need to remember while you are saving resources for those 100K upgrades, they are saving for those > 1M upgrades. They will have more to lose if not managed properly.
