On the one hand, I agree with the changes they are making, in which the great imbalance between attack and defense, which is in the game, would be partially corrected.
On the other hand, there are 2 things that are not correcting so far:
1) The game favored England and Germany, starting from global age, while disadvantaging Japan and Greece very strongly, Japan has no useful benefit in battle, and Greece with the appearance of very high level traps and the rocket arsenal , its only advantage in battle, the tanks, is useless. Germany being the only Nation, thanks to the theuronic fury that has a plus of attack in range sige and in all the factory troops, it became the only superior option in the Age of the Cold and Atomic War. The same happens with the advantage of +1 of reach in shooters, that has England, what turns it into an option of attack sumanete easy and unjust, is full of players England that only improved shooters and range sige.
These things and more produce a huge imbalance of numbers of players in each nation, which results in a lower diversity of types of attacks (which makes the game a bit boring), a shortage of certain national products, and that players of underrepresented nations receive a greater number of attacks.
Look at the table

Players

PlayersCold War Age Atomic Age Global
Total19459 87254 101093

Chi-Test0,9996892773 0,9999988643 0,9999997025

-Recommend to disable the Teutonic fury in world war attacks, OR reduce the percentage in wars to 5%, to equilibrate nations. And give extra secondary peacks to Greece an Japan

2) From the age of the illustration there are a number of extremely sub-improved bases, changing age should represent a certain challenge and permanence in age. See the following table. Clearly there should be a smaller number of players in each following Age, this is lost from the Age of the illustration due to the extremely lax limit of level to pass of age.

Players
Cold War Age19459
Atomic Age87254
Global101093
Industrial210182
Enlightment244392
GunPower Age527506

I suggest that you change the level limits to pass ages
Cold War Age230
Atomic Age180-190
Global155
Industrial115

i agree on points 1 + 2.

I don't agree that this rebalance was needed or that it will help things go straight. But this is a discussion left for another thread

After yesterday's live stream they confirmed Rebalancing of Nations won't be happening any time soon. We might as well stop asking them.

If the Japanese Town Center is equipped with bazooka sentry in higher age to replace arrows I bet many would switch to Japanese
Same thing if the Romans get self-healing ability
Or if the Greeks get extra speed-up/instant upgrade for 1 item every day
The game will be merrier and not only ruled by Germans and Brits

I love the stats! I am unsure that gives the full picture. Are those all active players? I am pretty sure in Atomic age the attack helicopter was specifically made to give all nations the +1 range. As a french player industrial age hitting silo bases in war using my special unit is ineffective unless poorly placed. So just because they are not rebalancing the nations does not mean the rebalancing can not have the same effect. Not everybody wars and traditionally Japanese were favoured by medal climbers. Just a few ideas to chew on.

Hi Xabar - I know that the high level cap to get into Cold War Age was put into place to prevent under-developed bases from moving up before they are ready. I'll ask if the team is interested in moving the other numbers up, or if that would require a deeper look, since it could play into balance aspects of the current bases that are in the Atomic, Global, and Industrial Ages.

The nations won't be getting an update during the rebalance, but it is always a possibility in the future. I'm also curious on where these estimated player numbers came from.

Thanks for the reply, TinSoldier
It seemed to me a very good measure to set a high limit to stop CWA, and that this could be extrapolated to the rest of the Ages. It would be appreciated if you review it.
oho. it's a very bad news that the nations won't be getting an update during the rebalance.
The data is from a .cvs file that I found in the web, I checked if the data of my town was ok and some else, and asumed that all the data was correct. In the event that the numbers are not correct, please correct me. I just try to be constructive. Data mining and deeplearning my weakness.

What there is, is a problem of population dynamics. The ages marked in red in the first graph are outliers, Ages that exceed the number of players that should have.
