Invasion Event!

Your populace is itching for a fight and wants to invade some other empires! For a limited amount of time, Heavy Infantry, Machine Gunners, Fighter Planes, General Joan of Arc, and some Ranged Mercenaries will deal twice as much damage, have twice as much health, and train twice as fast!

MRLs and Guan Yu are twice as strong for the duration of this event! The traveling merchant will also bring Minutemen and George Washington, which are both twice as strong!

The event lasts from 10/26 14:00 UTC to 10/29 14:00 UTC.

this is exceptionally strong and of a new character compared to previous events.
many of us use fighters. i also use infantry and an upgraded joan; this is an OP easymode event.

my first thought is that this is an expression of conciliation for the customer agitation at the dramatic rebalance.
i'm not offended by that drama, so this is just cake.

to my memory this is a first, where combat units get a bonus for the weekend.
perhaps in the future a "normal" discount event could also have a single unit bonus; that would be a nice thing i think.

Anyway, I would be more worry for the Rebalance Stage 4, Stage 5.... than a discount.

First time since this "interesting" rebalance stage 3 desaster that all of my 4 fighters survived the battle against someone with similar strength.

Please simply keep the fighter values like this and attacks could be more than just a waste of oil.

this is a good moment to make an attempt to get the 3200 medal achievement for 2000 crowns....
i couldn't do it pre-rebalance so it's unlikely i can do it now, but certainly it's more possible now than come tuesday.

Do we get to keep Washington forever? Otherwise, I don't understand paying 600 crowns for him for a single battle?

Washington is just another troop card and they are used up after one use. There's no reasoning other than for people that p2w. That being said, Guan Yu is much better stat wise other than the range. I'm sure people are buying anything and everything the game tosses at us. It would be more beneficial for people to buy Washington and use it later after the even because I don't think the stats will change being that its costs 600 crowns alone. The other troops like Guan Yu and the rest will surely lose their buffs after the event ends but that could just be my opinion.

I saved my 2 war attacks until event starts and wow the troops are stupidly op. There's a huge difference between CWA and AA troops. For planes even on paper the differences are 100-200 but now it's a few thousand. I've asked my ally members and Guan yu CWA and AA have a difference of over 40k hp. Anyway I guess happy raiding and someone mentioned earlier, now is probably a less difficult time to get those league achievements and high medal counts.

Well, I didn’t get.. should I spent about 1 000 crowns to get a Washington for one attack? Even though his health is big like an army, who needs a 1time Gen for so many crowns?
