Is France getting nerfed next?

After switching to France recently, I wouldn't be happy about nerf of course, but I see more and more French players in the top, so people are switching... And guess what? I think there are high chances they'll nerf it and no free switch to french palyers will be offered. So, it may be another factor to consider before switching to french now to avoid frustration. May be HC/tanks will have a little buff at least?

In general, as I stated in my nations rating France is far ahead of other nations, could be even 2-3 times on sniper attacks loot efficiency than other nations, so this means OP, if we judge honestly.

Of course, it would be more fun to buff other nations significantly, but after Korean nation features, I wouldn't expect that.

So, I would bet on upcoming nerf. What do you think?

I'm happy with the french but I don't think it's OP given that
1) it's useless for players who buy lots of crowns, they don't need any fast training or constant compromise of Merc and other blessings for the TB
2) unique troop too nerfed and AI too damaged
3) until enlightenment and level 5 temple, 40min army instead of 50min, 20min instead of 25min and 12min instead of 15min is good but still won't keep me from getting bored and closing the game.

Yea, according to my rating, you can't miss if switch from Greeks. The best they may expect is global HC tiny buff and 10% refund imo. Even if they're buffed and France is nerfed France still will be better. This is how

Well, 1-2% buys a lot of crowns, so it's a realy minority of players. And even those do not like to pay for smth they may get for free unique is still better than soldiers, it just does not give french nothing special, no new tactics, etc. therefore, Before EA france is nothing special, indeed, but still I'd put it on 'average' level. You can't say greeks or japan are better in GP. rome, chinese, brits probably are.

Let's try to imagine how big other's nation bonuses should be to be competitive within their current powers:

- british: +150-200% loot bonus
- greeks: 50-70% refund, 10-30% faster builds
- rome: 50-100% bigger army
- germans: +50-100% teuton fury attack bonus, twice faster rally
- japan: 2-3 times longer peace treaties, TC shoots like a cannon and anti air too
- Chinese: extra 4-8 more workers
- Korean: twice more tactics, 30% refund

This would be rock'n'roll right?

- romans would say: what?? My twice bigger army builds 30 mins on training blessing and soldiers are the weakest unique. How can it be OP???

- japanese: i am breaking my all-day peace treaty anyways and cannon does just 1 shot before it is down! My unique is so bad. Please buff.

- british: I am still looting less than French. Buff it to 300% please.

- greeks: what's the point of this refund if I can't even collect 7m gold with this nerfed HC??? And chinese still build faster! Useless nation.

- germans: my army is still always lost. Buff it twice please.

And only Koreans would be happy: We pay so much in games, so we could outcompete usa, ha-ha )))

This guy is STILL complaining about the French bonus? No lie for the last month and a half every other post this Redgar guy makes is some sort of objection to the French bonus. Even after they confirm it works as intended and even after he switches over he still continues on this one man crusade to encourage a nerf. He has no clue what players like myself had to go through for the months when we had the WORST nation to choose from. Which had no significant economic, military or troop advantage. Not to mention all the effort it took on our behalf to get some buffs to help us become more competitive. All he every complains about is this huge advantage which he thinks we have. Without ever pointing out the serious weaknesses or problems with playing French. I'm frankly tired of seeing him complain and can frankly say if we do get nerfed again (because they keep nerfing outer unique) we can blame him. After all no other player has made such a big deal about something which is anything but.

Hey Madfury, I am not complaining at all, if you read my post carefully. I am thinking about those who may switch now and get a nerf soon. So if this saves some crowns to other players, I believe I did good.

I also would like other nations to be buffed to be competitive, since they confirmed France works as intended, but with all this big huge nerf direction, I doubt that now. They said raiders nerf isnt planned, but now it sounds like it's gonna happen too.

Not sure. 20% fair faster army builds including factory and air units is still strong. Unique is better than greeks because of better synergy with its role and versailles. Better gates is awesome too... Works in attack and defense.
