This has happened to me several times before but it's gotten ridiculous enough (with all of my generals at level 10) that I have to ask the question. Do Generals get some massive defensive buff?

I'm including a video where my general a level 10 Nobunaga with more supporting troops versus a level 2 Alexander and my general still loses more than 2/3 of his health. It just seems that my general shouldn't lose nearly this much health vs a general 8 levels lower.

Watch "Defensive General Buff?" on YouTube - https://youtu.be/iamaK5DX4i8

Interesting video. It's hard to know for sure what the story is with the defensive Generals. I actually killed two level 20 Generals on an attack today...that's never happened before for me.

This game is laggy

Can't find reliable stats for generals anywhere (wiki's data is outdated/incomplete), but I suspect that the stat difference between a level 2 general and level 10 general is not as large as you might think.

As an aside, I can't help but notice that the enemy defenders are able to attack your troops over the walls.

Well, if the stats in game are accurate; my Nobunaga has 14,118 HP and does 1428 damage against generals. A level 2 Alexander will have around 10,500 HP and do about 850 damage to other generals. Plus look at how many supporting troops I had attacking his general.

My point is that I've had my level 6 general actually get killed by a level 2 defending general when no other troops or defenses are involved. There is no way that should be the case unless defending generals are gettings a buff we aren't aware of. That's why I'm posting here to see if one of the moderators will answer this.

And yes, defenders can attack through walls.. I've posted this in a couple other posts. With the new damage reduction; my Chevaliers get pounded while they slowly wear aware the wall.

i just had this happen to me... as soon as i dropped my first troop a lv1 cleo popped out of the castle, so i set my lv6 Napoleon close to her, and she wasted him. he is supposed to have a 5 range and she is supposed to be vulnerable to higher level generals, so what gives? 6 fussulers could have taken her down. :(
