Last Rites is switching to invite only, given the strength of our membership. If you are looking for an alliance that aggressively purges dead weight and is dedicated to players who are active, respectful and generous, then Last Rites is for you. No more frustration with alliance members who take hundreds of troops each cycle but give little in return. While we do not have a weekly minimum, having a 0 in the donation column is a sure way to get purged.


If you would like to join, when you ask to join, please include the following in your request:


1. Your level. Please note that out minimum is level 70

2. What age you are in. Our minimum is Gunpowder age.

3. Also write in your request "We give our enemies their Last Rites" so that we know you read this post and agree with the alliance's principles.

We recently cleared some more spots, so we have openings for new alliance members. If you want to be part of a serious (but not obsessed) group of players who pull the trigger quickly on donation requests, and who work hard to bring fellow alliance members along as we advance, come join us.

I joined Last Rites about 6 weeks ago – what a fun alliance! We’re a worldwide group of active, generous players who want to advance in this amazing game. However, we have real lives and want to keep the game play fun. Most of us aren’t shooting for top medals individually or as an alliance. We’re just looking for continued progress with an active exchange of troops, advice, and chats ranging from best wonders to top sports teams. More active is more fun but playing a few times a week and an occasional hello to your allies is fine. If you head off on an off-line vacation or need to focus on real life for a few weeks, just let the leadership know.

Our current allies range from level 60’s to 120’s with most medal counts between 600 and 1,100 (lowest at 446 and highest at 2,114).

If you are looking for an alliance where donation requests get filled shockingly fast, and members who don't contribute get weeded out weekly, Last Rites is for you. We have some open spots, and we are looking to get stronger as an alliance by making all of out members stronger.

Hi All, we have a few openings remaining in Last Rites for Level 70+, Gunpowder Age+ players interested in mutual support in a worldwide DomiNations alliance of allies with play focused on fun, not medal counts. Our ally's levels range from 55 (grandfathered) to 130+ with most in the 90 - 110 range. Medal totals range from the 700's to 2,200+. Playing, chatting, requesting, and donating several times a week is fine although many of our allies are much more active. We have had 4 strong players join us recently. The common thread is each of them grew frustrated with the lack of donation activity and chat in their alliances, and their efforts on both fronts were not being matched by others. Last Rites understands, as many of us flocked to this alliance for the same reasons. Donations here fly freely, and we are completely open about our obligations to each other on this front. If you want to join a culture of a shared sense of commitment and where the leadership group will act to release those who take but do not give, come join us. Last Rites thoroughly dominated in its first world war this weekend, showing the strength of our core principles of aggressive troop donations, high level of collaboration and insistence on active players. As a result, war participants gained good experience for the next war and a nice pile of loot. We currently have 4 spots left if we sound like an alliance for you. Bugs abound in alliance wars, but Last Rites is undefeated. Heading into war, our most advanced players load all alliance members with advance defense troops. Last Rites is now 7-1 in world wars and taking a break for the holiday. IA players have taken it upon themselves to send out troops to the alliance for war defense, and players with 700-1200 in troop donations is a common each season. We take planning and prosecuting wars seriously, to get the loot for sure, but also for the sheer enjoyment of winning. Players who want to win, will take their obligations seriously in fulfilling their attack assignments in war and want an alliance where members donate aggressively and dead weight is excised regularly will find a home in Last Rites.

Last Rites is now 9- 1, with our sole loss as a result of a glitch loss to "Long Dudes Alliance." For those of you who had the same bug, the Long Dudes "loss" final score was 0-0, and despite our best efforts, Nexcom would not reverse it. Our advanced players take it upon themselves to arm the entire alliance with troops for war defense, and we have a defined war strategy, which results speak for itself. Outside of war, all players from Gunpowder to Industrial are expected to donate to help the alliance advance. If you are an active player who wants to win, does not tolerate dead weight alliance members and who will donate and participate aggressively, then we have a few spots left for you. We are happy to accept GP players who prove their seriousness, as evidenced by the thoughtfulness of their base design.

Last Rites is now 10-1 and won the last war by 60 stars. We are actively looking for active Gunpowder, Enlightenment and Industrial players, and ideally would take 2 of each. However, willingness to donate and support war strategy is more important. Today we purged four players who either failed to uncheck their war participation box and didn't attack, have a history of low donation levels, or both. If you are frustrated with the level of activity in your alliance, and you want to win in war and share the loot, then look at the first post in this thread and be sure to write "We give our enemies their Last Rites" when you seek to join.

Last Rites is now 12-1 and continues to roll through the opposition in war. We are continuing to develop our Gunpowder age alliance members and have room at GP and above as we optimize our war roster. Please see the first posting above for invite requirements.

Our world war this weekend was the toughest yet but we persisted, cooperated, encouraged, congratulated wins, commiserated losses, kept fighting, and won! This is still a really fun alliance for active, cooperative, friendly, generous DomiNations allies interested in playing for fun, chatting, requesting troops, and donating troops several times a week. Many of our allies are much more active. We recently purged formerly active players to create a few openings for Level 70+, Gunpowder Age+ players interested in mutual support in a worldwide DomiNations alliance. Our ally's levels range from 70 to 140+ with most in the 90 - 115 range. We are particularly interested in new allies interested in winning World Wars with us. If you're looking to be part of a cooperative, fair, and active alliance, please join us in Last Rites! (My previous alliance was so inactive I couldn't even receive the crowns for donating troops to other members.) I have been with Last Rites alliance for several weeks now, and I'm very glad I joined. Here are the main reasons: we don't have medal requirements, donation requests are filled quickly, the leadership is solid (i.e. fair, reasonable, respectful, and generous), and overall, all our members--whether experienced or new--work together to help each other have fun and progress in the game.

At this time, we are particularly interested in active GP players interested in participating in wars.
