Laughable (Costumer) Service!

We all know that the gameplay for players above the 2600 medals (or meanwhile lower?) is ridiculous. Besides the absurd medal gain system +1, +1, +1, +1….-20, -12-, 15…, we also have to deal with the “no opponents”.
But if you like a challenge you can fight your way through this absurd gameplay. The one thing you have to do, is being online for a long time at a stretch (and have a little luck with your defenses). I myself am a go-getter,
so I fought my way above the 3400 medals. During my journey to the top I had to deal with a lot of bugs and cheaters that Nexon provides us. One of the most annoying bugs is the one that you are attacked during your peace treat.
Hours and hours online then praying for a low defense and take that lose. The planning should be all right you toke you lost and go to sleep during the peace treat, set your alarm to wake up in time and be online for the rest of the day.
But….there is the present from Nexon again….attacked during your peace treat (sometimes multiple time in one night!).

Luckily the game has a Customer Service you should think. After they several times send you a standard answer you get 300 crowns. I myself am a Industrial Age player, so with 300 crowns you can speed up your upgrades from twelve
days with one day. If I could wait twelve days I can wait the last day to Nexon! The last weeks it happened me several times, so I was dropped to 3320 medals again.

Last weekend I was gaining my medals again. I reached the 3368 medals. Because I could not be online a lot the next days I thought lets buy a peace treat for 3 days. So I did. Very happy with my gained medals I closed my eyes and without
setting the alarm. The next day I received a present from Nexo again. Within twelve hours I was attacked again during my peace treat!! There wy go again…..”Dear Costumer Service, Here I am again. Please don’t send me a standard answer. I was disadvantaged again, because
I was attacked during my peace treat, etcetera, etcetera”.

After a while……Yes….I got the standard answer. “Thank you for contacting us again. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience……etcetera”. Meanwhile I received the 300 crowns again. But my peace treat was reduces from 2 days and 12 hours to 9 hours!
So I contacted Costumer Service again. According to them I should buy a new peace treat with the crowns I received. And now its getting more ridiculous…. I cannot buys a new 3 days peace treat because its in his cooldown period!!. So I contacted Costumer Service again….
“Pleas be advised that we do not service that matter about re-setting the cooldown of the peace treaty”. Huh??? So I give them the advice to contact the thousands of hackers there are in this game, maybe they know how to re-setting it.. But…”we apologize….blablabal”.

Because I not only lost a lot of medals, but also a lot of gold, oil, chicken, blessings, trade goods…I wanted more then the compensation of 300 crowns. I don’t think that is unfair. Especially considering the fact that I am gonna lose a lot more medals, gold, chicken, oil, blessing and
trade goods in the coming days. After all I should have a peace treat for 3 days that I bought!! But I think you all know the answer from ou great Costumer Servide………

I am seriously thinking to quit this corrupted game with their foolish Costumer Service. This should be a fantastic game to play, but the only people who are playing are the people from Costumer Service. They are playing with us!!!!!!

How long are we accepting this peeps!! I hope Nexon is reading this and do something about is. Solve the bugs and provide much better compesations!!

Very accurate description. And yes everyone in the leaderboard will know what you are talking about.

I've given up on fighting for the leaderboard. Highest I could go without spending my whole day on the game is #8. I took a screenshot and let it go.

Now I'm playing for resources to upgrade my base. Eventually (I hope), they will fix all these issues, so in the meantime, I'm getting ready for when it will become a fair battle for the leaderboard. No point in waiting 20 mins for one battle. Focusing just on medals will hurt the advancement of your base.

And given that Loonies will soon take over the leaderboard, there's no point in pushing medals too high, you'll never catch Loonies. High medals are good for high league bonus but if you are too high you don't get battles so there are diminishing returns.

I'm probably going to hang around 3200 for a bit until they fix some of these issues.

And if you're really considering quitting, I would tell you to give it another chance by joining us in USA elite. You'll find people to vent with, who will understand how you feel (we've all gone through what you've described) and who can motivate you back and bring some fun in your game.

I think your complaints are valid and that costumer service is actually very good, they listens to your complaints and even give you a compensation! There isn't very much they can do about this situation on short term and other players suffer from the same issues. Also you should also ask yourself is there more ways I can have fun in this game, then just medal grind. I'm copper league and just reached enlightment age and I have tons of fun in this game! Now I don't say you shouldn't be competitive at all, because that is what I will try to do when I reach maxed offense as well. But if the only thing you care about is a number next to your medal, you completely lost track of yourself.

I am maxed out in offence and almost in defense (except the walls) so the medalhunt is the only goal at the moment. Besides that why can delvelopers in other games achieve to have a belanced medalsystem and Nexon not?? And I don't think you read my post very good. The compesation is nothing compair the things I lost! And you say that they can solve it in a short term. This problem is not from the last days. It started months ago. And it is not just the medals but also the battle bonus that are Attractive. But I understand your reply in away because you are just in EA. How further you will be in the game the more bugs. Believe me. But I think you know because I am beginning to think you are working at CS 😂😂

I've given up on cs... It seems their hands are tied until the programmers can find a way around the hole they dug themselves in... I'm hoping some elves come in and magically fix all the problems but who knows what the future will hold for this game that once upon a time had so much potential. With every day it takes for them to get their act together more and more players are bleeding away and the potential lessens. They've appeared to have lessened the cheater problem so... Baby steps. Meanwhile the elite are in a holding pattern while the rest of us catch up... I have no problem with this part personally 😉. It's trying to keep those in the holding pattern occupied and your friends from rage quitting while the devs get their act together that is the priority right now.

I think we all love this game because it reminds us of real world societal progress or lack thereof and it intrigues us to be playing it with people from around the world with different social, religious, political world views with one thing in common... We are gamers. And so are the developers and customer service. We use this medium to escape what is going on in the real world for a time and when it's not working properly it really sucks! So the way I see it you have the following choices...

1. Keep grinding and perfecting your game in different ways. Try different army set ups. The choices are many if you are maxed out as you say you are.

2. Find another device and start a new account. Give Loonies some competition. Find the fun in the game again... If your medals tank in your main account and you lose your chickens (I love that you call it that btw, I'm gonna from now on too) so what? You can get it back any time because you know how.

3. Find a different game to play while you are waiting for the problems to get resolved. Star Wars Battlefront is coming out today and I plan to be fully emerced into the force... If you know what I mean.

4. Find someone you love in the real world and have a good long conversation with them. They miss you and want to be with you without a device in your hand.

Anyway, just know that we all feel your pain... Hang in there... Use the force... Ummm and party on dude!

Accurate description. Bad choices by bhg/Nexon, imo.

Why not just replace medals and resources in these types of cases? The answer is that they want to discourage us from contacting cs.

It takes a lot of time to resolve each specific issue we present them with, so they auto-respond and cut and paste. If we get upset, they compensate us with a small number of crowns.

Yah, they did have technical defects in the design phase that are causing so many unpleasant problems, including so vulnerable to cheater attack. But, still a but, this game is so much more interesting than coc. To be honest, if they decide to ask for pay seAson pass fee to be able to play global age, I will pay without hesitate.

This! Its not customer service thats trying to play it hard, they can only do what they can do! I personally have found them very helpful. They at least try.. and they actually answer you! Try games like ... Army of Heros for instance, the customer "service" is totally horrid! IF you actually get an answer its borderline offensive!! Screw plamee. BHG c/s is pretty decent I reckon.

I've had to contact CS and I have been helped every time. It might have taken a little time to get me or an alliance member that needed the help but we have been happy with our service. Don't forget that this is a very dynamic game there will be bug here and there but they do take care of it. I'm at a lower level and I haven't experienced the same issues you have but your issues don't seem that bad and you where given 300 hundred crowns for your trouble. Maybe it's time to take a break.

Has anyone ever thought that the hackers were developers of clash of clans and they were so scared of DomiNations that they have seen trying to destroy it. Dun dun dun

Hmmm... Interesting theory... Corporate sabotage.... Very intriguing. But it also could be that there are a lot of bad people out there with a lot of time on their hands looking for new ways to take pleasure in ruining a good thing. They took the path of least resistance and found BHG who was more interested in building a good game that people would love to play than developing a secure network.

As far as cs is concerned... When I said I give up on them I meant I don't bother bugging them about known issues any more because they can't do anything but acknowledge the problem (or maybe give a small token). They are good about replying. And will go beyond the canned response if you push them on it. This is something I have never experienced in any other game and I give them kudos for that. I'm just hoping that they are also nudging the programmers to do something to fix the issues too numerous to mention to make the cs job easier and our gaming experience more of a pleasurable experience than feeling like we are banging our heads on a wall.

Interesting. Seems like the tone and opinion of the average response changed over the course of this thread.

In my opinion, repeatedly asking for an explanation of a double hit, and getting a bs "it's a visual bug" answer was not acceptable. I even took the matter further and the last I heard from ironangel was that he was trying to confirm whether it was a "double ding" and would get back to me "in the morning". That was the end of the conversation. I followed up and he wouldn't discuss it further.

Giving inaccurate answers to people and dropping discussions isn't going to build credibility for nexon/bhg.

When presented with definitive proof that a game bug damaged someone, they should simply replace the medals and resources. Given the amount of time and money people spend on this game, having a fair resolution to a clear issue is the right way to go.
