Library research and strength

I've looked around quite a bit today, but haven't had any luck finding an answer to this question.

Does Library research count toward your overall strength for matchmaking in wars?

The FAQ doesn't mention it, but it also doesn't mention University research either, but I've found today that University research does count.

Does anyone know for sure if Library research is factored in to calculating your overall strength for matchmaking in wars?

Thanks!

I would imagine like anything that adds HP and/or DPS to troops or buildings it contributes to your overall war weight. How they calculate things like 10% faster cannon fire or mortar troops receive +1 range is a bit of a mystery though.

Anything that makes a difference to your offensive or defensive unit / building hp or dps is counted. So it should all be factored in. +1 range on the mortars is an interesting question, no idea on that one.

Yes!
Both Library research (like Free Companies Chapter 1 from the Library) and University skills (like King Sejong's Tower Damage) count towards your under-the-hood World War calculation.

Your understanding is incorrect. The university increases HP / dps of units and buildings, so it counts towards war weight - each affected building has more weight than it would have without that university research done.

It does not increase your XP (that little number in the upper right corner of your screen), but that number is irrelevant to wars anyway.
