the stream was more about showing off the new features of the game that came with the recent update. there was very little strategy to show just how the game is played which seems like the stream was aimed at the new player. tin solder didn't even try in his multiplayer battles which was very frustrating. he just attacked the first base encountered and just dropped the new droops that they wanted to show off and did a closeup of those troops. in the 4 battles i saw he didn't even use rally once and waited until half the battle was over before dropping his transport. as someone else mentioned here this is not indicative of how a normal battle takes place. also someone in the chat made the good point that dropping all those mercs and troop tactics would scare off the average player who think that they need this firepower to get a chance.

regarding the data that there are too many 5 star victories: one of the devs said that the game would be boring if bases are too easy to 5 star. but there are many 5 star bases because people hunt weak bases to get their resources. if you want to fix this, up the bonuses for the harder bases so that they would be WORTH attacking (and yes, this would mean even making the bonuses at least double what they are now). you don't artificially make weaker bases harder and hard bases much harder. their answer seems to be to up our frustration level would would lose many players who are just casual players.

NTG rewards for these bases would have to be tripled or more for a lot of the higher level ones to be remotely worthwhile. I'm thinking 10 NTGs for 5* a 360+, and still at least 6 for a 3*.

You are right! They should give higher bonuses for attacking stronger bases and this alone would fix problem of attacking weak/rushed bases. Great Idea !

Also it could be easily implemented in the game with new Domination Bonus - just add option for 5 stars (or add 6th star) and provide more bonus for attacking stronger base - based on base's age and player's level - simple If base is higher age and similar level to yours it's already much stronger so attacking it should be worth much more. Then players would like to get those rewards and actually start attacking those bases with everything, even troop tactics! Also defender should get bigger rewards for successful defense.

I was kinda yelling at Tinsoldier to use the rally button. He didn't use it at all. I'm like "you're never going to 5 star a base if you can't use the rally button. DON'T YOU KNOW YOUR TROOPS FIGHT HARDER AFTER A RALLY!!!".

Well, you were lucky If you missed the live stream show and suggest you don't check it cuz you missed nothing! for the first time I watched a few minutes of their live stream show and found I just wasted my time! and never do it again!
Here's a summary of the show :

Ash (community manager of NEXON) : he ask of devs what's the next update to the game?
devs : we may add interesting stuffs!
Ash : it's great!!
TinSoldier : yeh it's great!! ( while he is struggling hardly to get a single star in the battle with full power , merc camp, full troops cards, tactics & general..)
Ash : whats about the next stages of rebalancing?
devs: next stages will be great to make 5 starring so harder !
Ash :Cool!!
TinSoldier :Yeh cool! (again he failed in the battle while he's with full power, obviously he shows he is out of skill against Silo, he don't know how to deal with it!)
Ash: whats about new troops?
devs :we may add new cool troops!
Ash :awesome!!
TinSoldier :yeh awesome! (again he is failing in the battle)

And this boring conversation continue for 2hrs!
And basically they gave nothing !
And this question come up : they can't get even 2* with full power, then how they say 5 starring is easy??

I just wished TinSoldier played with my account and he upgraded some of my stuffs instantly by crowns!
