Machine gun (troop) - is this a bug or wrong unit description?

The description states “Their attacks suppress enemy infantry, causing them to move at half speed and deal half damage.”

But in reality I recently noticed that heavy cavalry are also affected. Is this a recent change with someone forgetting to update the unit description?

Machine guns have always suppressed all enemy troops that get in range. Maybe it should just say enemy defenders, but this is not a change.

its not just machine guns. there are many units that say they do bonus dmg vs enemy infantry but they will really do bonus dmg vs all enemy units
