Hi,
The suggestion of Marco Polo being presented differently in major ages. (Marco polo , 20th century type)
Ie. I am still having Marco Polo in his tents and camels in Cold War Age. Would a Cold War nation trade with Merchants coming with his camels and building temporary tents looking like he is from the Middle Ages?
Cheers

Seriously who cares, what I'd like to see first before we even mention appearances is that he needs to start bringing good and cheap troop cards for us and only then I might think about his tent and donkeys.
Yes, and he should only accept in-game currency like rubies or leather or NTGs, etc.

Agreed. Having him be another place to spend crowns seems like duplicated effort.

Maybe have Marco trading via e- commerce? Amazon.com style? That cold war enough?

Honestly, dont care how he looks like as long as he has the goods: the 400 sometimes 600 rubies worth of troops chests.

we need those troop chests back but we need more variety in them. the same old impi, pirates, heavy vandals, training blessing, tactics blessing gets old quick. we need something worth trading rubies for like we used to have but we need some variety also. its funny seeing these troops come out of a GA or higher base

No need for variety in the troop chest. They can do multiple other chests for rubies for variety. But make the troop chests reliably available, so that we have a consistent troop baseline available for war again.

Well let's wait for the new update and see, I highly doubt that troop chests will be back. To quote Metallica, "Sad but true".

I just wish they wouldn't focus on him when he was available. Logging in everytime and panning to marco polo is kind of annoying.

I make it a game. I try to swipe left as soon as the screen loads or try to tap on a building first. Most times I win. In your face, Marco!
It's the little victories that matter. :D

Seriously, Marco Polo is making World Wars pointless! 600 rubies for ONE doppel army? AND NO MORE OPTIONS OF WHERE TO SPEND RUBIES??? This is a disgusting joke! 2 weeks ago I bought 6 doppel for 450 crowns...

This week we fought 3 hard wars. Me alone, I spent on average 10 sh troop cards on each war - 6 for both attacks and 4 donated to defense. After 3 wars this week the results are: -30 stronghold troop cards and +900 rubies. Then Marco Polo arrives and offers this crap which is frankly a slap on the face.. So you mean to tell me I just spent 30 SH cards for the opportunity of buying ONE freaking doppel card?

Our alliance is top #300, we war everyday currently on a 29 win streak. For the first time EVER since founding we are going to take a break from wars... I foresee a lot of veteran players abandoning the game (and there goes some of your whales).

This is not funny, devs are really ruining the gaming experience of this game. You dont want to give us troop chests anymore? Fine! But at least give better options: to start with - HALF of the offers should be for rubies and the other half for crowns. How in the world can you think its acceptable to give only one offer for rubies? Second, ruby prices need to be SERIOUSLY nerfed if you are only going to give ONE sh troop card per purchase.

I know im just talking to the ether here, but its good that other players know how much this hurts everyone so that maybe we can be heard.

Or its time to try other approaches, like massively rating the game 1 star both on appstore and googleplay store. Maybe they will hear that...
