The devs have already explained that troop chests in marco had bugs with opening and the names of the chest. It will be fixed in the next update.

But yeah, the cost for them is ridiculous, as are all the offers.

I like people making fun of Marco Polo posts, when in reality, they fail to acknowledge how big of a troll this game has become.
Never knew they're that much in the red. I wouldn't mind extra adverts in the game, if they could give us some decent Marco Polio offers once in a while.

I cannot even remember last time he showed up with TROOPS CHEST.

I think we’ve given up moaning about it. Marco was a great idea but greed and short sightedness has ruined it. I’ve recently quit wars as the troop card requirement to win close matches is unsustainable now that rubies have been made borderline worthless.

Marco's offers will never as good as it once was and that's really like many things in the game. They really messed up by giving us something good right off the bat than removing it. Even if it were bugged it shouldn't take months to fix the issue. I know some would disagree with me but if they want to remove the training bless or tactic bless I would be ok with that. It's just nice to have troop cards even if we are just using them on the defensive side. At least we can do something against alliances that p2win even if that only adds a tiny chance for us to win. All that being said, I did want to say that this current offer isn't the worst. I really like jannisaries and for 100 rubies, i bought all 10. The other reason is that I'm maxed on rubies so I have to use them. As far as ntg, I like any deal thats a 3:2 exchange.

Last week’s deal was CWA howies. And many were misled into trading for 1 howie recruit that went straight to barracks instead of trading for the 1 strong hold card consisted of 3 howies. Sure we can say “you should’ve read more closely”!
Still I call it underhand, wouldn’t you all?

Also not sure how many people have noticed but the Howy troop cards have been nerfed. They now have a defender damage that is much lower than normal dps. This includes siege unit cards already acquired in strong hold. They are now much weaker than the ones trained via barracks.

And the annoying as heck screen to Marco when you log in. That’s reason enough to dislike that pompous asshat.
