Medal count error

I woke up today and noticed that the medal count in my alliance screen/roster doesn't match with my actual medal count in my game screen. The medal count in my alliance screen is 50 below my actual medal count. Even after I win an attack raiding, the medals don't match up. Some of my allies have a difference of 100 medals, while others have different of 5. It seems like a widespread issue. I have notify CS. Anyone else have the same issue?

I understand and agree with a lot of what you said, however I the whole east vs. west thing is pure speculation and I don't think it really fair or true to comment about that at this point. We have players in our alliance from HK and Singapore who experienced this same medal loss issue.

There's no denying something is FUBAR with the game at the moment. What I'm saying is don't expect your ''medals'' to be restored once they're lost. The best you can hope for is a paltry sum of crowns. Be thankful - I haven't gotten anything yet even though I've been hassling them for over 2 weeks.

Bunch of our alliance members had the same problem, lost about 100 medals last Saturday around same time as their network error. I didnt play much Sat just to log in and I check on Sat noght and boom, 100 medals less. Went to alliance and ppl stating same but not all effected. Mainly US players. i contacted CS and they said it because i exited during battle... lmao!!! i didnt play Sat and i told them to check the logs.. pathetic game..very close to quiting

I'm losing 10-39 medals at a time for 1-2 star attacks. I've lost hundreds of medals. Spend hundreds of dollars to stop from losing s league. I could not keep up with that and lost a league so far. I'm now kingdom 2. This sucks

Seraphine This is one major issue that is causing players to leave the game. Anything you can do to call the attention of the right technical personnel at Nexon? Customer Service Reps just continue sending the usual canned responses and not being able to resolve major glitches such as this one...

I went to sleep with 12 hours peace treaty. I woke up and lost over 100 medals. I think the theory of losing medals from war attacks might has to do something with it. Plus, you guys had your server crashed last week. Seraphine

All the alliances are getting fed up, and might quit the game soon.

I could not agree more with most of the comments here, especially philipos. I dropped from 3380 to 3270, no defensive losses in log, no crashes, etc. At +1 medals per battle for 95% of my battles, 110 medals is ALOT. I contacted customer service and they told me to restart my game...Really? You don't think I would have already tried to restart my game? I would have rather gotten a response such as "we are not sure" or "we don't know" over some BS suggestions. It put me into a rage that almost forced me to quit the game, which I am still seriously contemplating, but allowing myself to cool off first. I also spent money on crowns this weekend because I wanted to keep my battles going and didn't have time to wait for tactics training in between battles.

About the far east speculation, I wouldn't doubt that they are trying to move their customer base to where their company is based out of, but they are surely going to lose a huge market for all of us top legit players if they keep this up. Look at the top player in the world right now. He's Korean, is it a coincidence? Nope, I watched this guy climbing at 30 medals per hour to pass our Russell, while Russell sat there and clicked the attack button for days to find one battle. So why was this Korean able to gain over 100 medals in one night to overtake 1st place? When we asked CS to look into it because we suspected cheating, we got nothing and now he steadily sits on top with a large lead on the rest of the board.

All these things coupled with the thoughts that there were hundreds of people that had maxed out lvl 14 walls the first day the global age came out has made me lose faith in this game ever reaching its potential and I feel its only going to take one more thing to send me away. Oh and btw, the fact that I spend money and support your company while others are allowed to have the same thing for free and you allow hacks to roam free throughout the game is FRAUD and I WILL get my money back.

I have just had a medal reduction of 100 medals after having a regular not war battle, this might just be the last straw for me in this game. I'll see what CS replies with but from previous experience I don't expect to get any real satisfaction. Other glitches I have been preparing to put up with but those medals took me a long time to earn.

Every time I think "it couldnt get crazier", it does. I didnt think things could get worse than alliances not getting new members, and war attacks going from 5* to 2*...but now we can add phantom medal losses to this list of 3 things absolutely killing the game I like so much. Its really hard to explain to my team why they should bother playing, but Im still trying. Nearly all active players in our alli have losts hundreds of medals over the past few days. Medals arent everything, but they certainly are meaningful to many people, and for others its just another thing to add to the list of frustrations.

If every development resource hasnt been taken off any other project and reassigned to these three things, I would call it very poor management and prioritization lol.

The problem Seraphine, is that the players no longer trust you or the development team or Nexon. Many players are long term who pay a lot of money but are not fools to be phobed off with robotic messages or your 'trust me' missives. Many in my circle of friends are highly intelligent, hard working professionals who enjoy the comradeship and potential of the game during their leisure time but now the game is failing them badly. Being told its our connection issues is to insult your clientele, while giving a player a 100 miserable crowns for the loss of 50 medals when each medal lost represents a hard earned battle is plainly crass, and in many ways objectionable. To be smashed by a cheat, report it, and receive some nonsense message about client privacy is plainly absurd. The sheer numbers of cheats due to your development team's complacency shows how little protection is shown towards the client body. Ultimately, the whole medal side of the game needs to be reviewed and managed differently - its not merititious, it has simply become money spent or cheat crowns.

Nexon have lost the plot and this latest fiasco of losing players' medals will be a real test of how much care is shown to the client-player base. The glitch between war and multiplayer - the loss of medals while participating in war - highlights how deep the problems have become. In removing the loop of the 'false close' problems have emerged at an increasing rate - yes, some of us do track the functionality of the game. By adding events to a general process of age expansion has ensured these problems have migrated throughout the game. Nexon needs to recognise that players do not accept the general willingness to take large amounts of money for crowns while delivering an increasingly inferior product.

Nexon needs to understand why people are becoming angry and how far they are now prepared to go to get satisfaction. Time is money and the game is money, if these costs of relaxation include frustration and dissatisfaction then the game is finished. I for one have agreed with my provider that no more money will be given to crowns until the game functions properly, and Nexon have made a powerful statement of restitution. If after losing almost 250 medals due to glitches during PT and war leads to a paltry 100 or 300 crowns I for one will move on, and believe many of the other 75% of my alliance who suffered will be joining me. If positive restitution isn't made, with due care for the clientele, there will be a large number of players moving to other games. I really do hope Nexon heed these warning signs because while we really enjoy this game, we are all now at a breaking point.

It's so frustrating that they don't hire more competent people for the devs team. Such great potential and ideas, but poor execution and management.

They have to start with customer service. Bugs in software are expected, but shitty customer service is not excusable. It's clear they outsource it to some 3rd world country and pay them peanuts, so no wonder customer service doesn't give a damn.

I also play clash royale, and they have the same CS. Generic, robotic responses. I think most mobile game use similar cs system due to the volume.

Hey this is complete BS. After someone attacked me, my true medal count of 2553 became the incorrect medal shown on the alliance screen of 2493. I lost 50 medals out of nowhere. What on earth are you guys doing to the game? Why are there so many errors all happening continuously? I bet you it's all these events that you're pushing out and when the event over, they leave crazy amount of bugs. Please help me get my medals back because your medal system, I can only earn 1 medal for each win for most matches.

I had the same problem and Nexon could not care one bit. Worked hard to get to Empire only to see it go away. We all should protest!

I'm chiming in. I noticed a difference between my actual medal count and the Alliance medal count 2 hours into playing. I continued for another hour, and while I made 40 medals after 30-ish games, I noticed that my Alliance medal count did not move. I turned the game off and turned it back on after 10 minutes, my actual medal count was gone and replaced by the wrong Alliance medal count. I've reported it to CS and advised my Alliance members about it. I've spent a lot of hours getting to my league and this glitch is just turning that effort into a great waste of time. Right now, the medals system is a joke.

Mods, if you're reading this, please let your company know that there is a serious problem going on. And there will definitely be a drop off of active (and paying) players if they neglect this.

This happened to me twice, that's why I lost over 150 medals. CS didn't do anything to help or compensate.
