Medal system needs to be reinvented NOW!

I know, most of you don't care about medals. But I think, reaching dynasty league I is a usefull thing due to league rewards for each fight (actually 286k food and gold).
But it is nearly impossible to reach that goal or to stay in DL I.
Problem is the most unfair medal system, I have ever seen. The amount of medals to earn (or loose) depends on the difference between your medals and those of your opponent only.
What does it mean in practice? If you are at roundabout 3.500 medals and your opponent is lower than 3.000 medals, he will be able to steal 39 medals from you with a 5 star victory. No matter that your opponent is 30-40 levels higher than you!!! And I think 90% of all players are below 3.000 medals :-(
On the other side when I search for an opponent, 99% are 1 medal victorys only even against players at level 260-270.

THAT'S QUITE UNFAIR AND NEEDS TO BE CHANGED!

Having much medals means being good in fighting, so the amount of medals to earn should depend on the difficulty to get a 5 star victory. Therefore the difference of both player's medals is quite unimportant, but difference of levels, additional troops or defensive buildings, skill of troops and so on should be measured in medals.

Nexon, please make this game more fair for those medal hunters like me!!!

there is no need for change. this is how every other game does their medal system. beef up your defense and you shouldnt be able to be 5 starred.

Sorry, you are wrong. It is annoying to search two hours or more for a single opponent with 20+ medals to earn!

im not wrong, this is how coc works, how clash royale ladder works. just a couple of the big money earners as examples. quit crying because its too hard up there. if you dont like it drop medals for easier attacks or quit hitting next and just attack the base you are given.

Well intuitively a good medal system should be harder to climb as you reach the upper echelons, and surprise, surprise, the current medal system does that. :)

ur right, it's stupid how they allowed much lower medals league to be matched with u but that happened due to lack of players in high leagues which caused players in high leagues unable to find opponents
that's why they increased the spectrum of medals that can be matched with each other
however they didn't change the rate of win/loss of medals since then so it's nearly impossible to stay in dynasty league without having extreme defenses, FC, all possible defensive blessings active, 3 generals, in other words everything to disallow the attacker from earning a single star + being highly active to regenerate ur traps and blessing and attack much more than u get attacked

which makes empire league a decent solution if u want the best possible reward without being a hyperactive player with OP base

I was empire II during a period, I felt the same way, attacks I made get only 1 medal and when I was attacked I lost over 30 which was so long to get back. So didn't even managed to get to dynasty league because of this, now I don't care about medals anymore, I stay between silver and gold and farm easily.

To all of you saying "stop crying": I don't think, that you know what I am talking about. Maybe you are empire III or lower?
In DL II it takes hours and nearly a million of gold to find an opponent to get 30+ medals. That's just annoying.
And there is absolutely no reason to invest troops, tactics and blessings for 1 medals to earn.

If medal count would use difference of levels it still would be hard to climb that ladder, but it would be more realistic and just ve more fun for everyone.

You wrong, because with the update of victory chest, it’s more better to up in medal rank, and win everyday more than 5,5 millions / 22k oil with just 15 little stars, than just stay in low level (as noob players did).
I see more people who try to kill me since this update, and logically, i’ll found more players with many medals in the next week and month ! So we could continue to up and gain more :)

1. Here's a strategy for you: Fire off a training blessing, play for an hour, make 4 attacks, gain 4 medals. Log off, sleep, and wake up to your defense bring you 20+ medals per attack. You can even induce this by leaving your mills and markets unprotected (or gasp if your really want it, leave your refinery unprotected).

2. What's your alternate solution? No matter what you come up with, for a medal system to be hard in the upper echelons, you need to give out fewer medals to the player when they win, and take away a larger number of medals when they lose. That's just common sense, otherwise the medal system will be meaningless, if I could just get to dynasty by making about 20-30 attacks.
