thoughts maybe how i can improve the layout? however this base serves me well even when i have 400-500k worth of goods. best loot at this base was 16k food only.
i had extra catapult, extra tower and extra 5 walls. normally if my aim is to collect food more than gold, i keep the two mills inside and put the market near the tower and catapult and vice versa if im aiming for gold supply.

spread out. leave gaps... you'll effectively lower the dps of attckers.

Just don't make the gaps so large that troops can spawn in them!

If I'm attacking I'm coming from the top right, using 3 cavalry to distract the catapults, 30+ archers (British) to kill the top one and sabotaging the two in the middle repeatedly because I can freeze them both with one tactic.

That said, it's a good base and I wouldn't attack it unless I was getting 80k plus in gold and food loot.
