metal drop rate from mines is unreal!!!

it's supposed to be 60% and most of the time am getting 0 metal from my 3 mines, idk why am keeping my workers free for metal if in the end am getting max of 6 metal per 4 hrs
this is a real waste of time and workers and a real cheating by devs to fake unreal drop rate so much below the actual drop rate
I've been testing the drop rate over more than a week and i can tell for sure that it doesn't even exceed 20%

Yes. I often go 0/3 on mines and 1/8 on fruit trees. Yet I am almost certain that I have never gone 3/3 and 8/8, which seems would be more likely if the rate was really 60% as claimed.

Yeah that happens to me also. I think it is a maximum number per something (maybe per day). Especially frustrating when I'm free to collect about every 3 hours

yea and am supposed to collect 42 metal for full merc army which is 84 metal for 2 war attacks in that rate

Can't say I have the same problem. Between collection and raiding I'm often over maxed what with the dock bonus and battle chest. In any case if you want to use only merc tanks and no other that is your problem, not the drop rate's fault. Mix up your merc composition and you won't be relying on collecting 84 metal every war.

Random number generators are *****, with their randomness...
With me it flows all ways, sometimes I getnothing from harvesting all my mines and trees, sometimes I get something from all. That's why it's random.

The rates are definetely not 60% in both instances (metal, cider) In fact, with the update, the harvest rate has decreased alarmingly. I am sure they have reduced it without players being informed.
Same is happening for 5 star victories and diamonds. I've been getting many cases of no diamonds on 5* victories and YES I know about the 'visual' bug.
NTGs are also rare now. 2 NTGs is a very rare occurence and I can even go so many battles without them...

Drop rates of Cider and metal along with the lack of diamond and NTGs might just be circumstantial to specific accounts. Personally I'm not affected by any of these issues. I'm constantly full on NTG with 1-2 dropping every battle and diamonds every other battle. As for cider and metal, I've been getting consistently more since the last update.

other mercs are useless except for tank destroyers which in atomic age and am currently global so no other way and it's not my problem that a 60% chance drop rate is giving me 0 metal most of the time it doesn't have any thing to do with what am going to use that metal for

I don't have a problem with NTGs or cider just metal, mines are droping like 20 metal per day and that's no way near 60% chance

man there are days that I feel like my chance is 10% and I get so frustrated, i trust it is just random however. None-the-less I wish you always got some and the randomness was applied to additional resources instead. I mean, i am mining, or skinning or plucking fruit off a tree, clearly it should yield something! Might not be the best yield but it should return something. It would certainly keep me from raging.

Maybe they should make it like a pseudo random chance. Like, let's say that if you do not get metal/cider on the first mine/fruit tree then the % increases on the next chance until you are eventually guaranteed metal/cider after so many chances. With metal it could be a climbing percentage that ends up at 100% on the third mine if you don't get metal on the first or second mine. With fruit trees it could probably be every fourth tree is a guarantee if you don't get cider.

So it would be something like this:

First mine - 60% metal chance.
Second mine (if you failed to get metal) - 80% metal chance.
Third mine (if you failed to get metal again) - 100% metal chance.

Yeah. It's funny because I only use mercs for wars and blessings for quests, barring the occasional trap or training blessing. Yet the lack of yields on fruit trees and mines are probably among my top pet peeves about this game, for whatever reason.

Between the daily dock reward, and the Victory chest I'm always finding a chance to get more cider and/or metal

I think you're right, I pretty much max out on cider every day sometimes close too twice a day, my metal doesn't seem to be as good as it was but can't really complain about it. My NTG and diamonds aren't too bad either.

60% chance of metal doesn't mean you will get something all the time. If you get nil this time you might get something the next 2 or 3 or 4 times, which is how I interpret the ''60% chance'' - it's about the averages. Motaz Tarek - maybe Nexon works on a yearly yield of averages?? :D
What I'm annoyed about is the drop in cider and metal, and make no mistake there has been a definite drop, about the time we could buy extra trees and mines. Co-incidence?
Fortunately, raiding keeps my storehouse full.
