the good and the bad about last update

first of all the retrain video is the best feature ever added, hope it never gets removed or modified to cost resources in the future
basically it means what i used to spend in war in terms of resources and trade goods is now cut in half
not only that but i dont have to worry about missing my 2nd attack because i have to wait for a long retrain time specially for tactics and mercenaries cost

second best feature is the workers cost reduction event, if u fully utilize each event u will find yourself cutting down worker cost by 3-4 workers in total which is a good step in reverting the unexplained huge increase in workers cost

new alliance perks i am neutral to negative to this addition cuz of the 5% buff to defense, i see any buff to defense as a further push to pay2win, which is really unfortunate but since players were setting there doing nothing with max alliance perks they r getting busy with the new perks but in the end a negative impact on gameplay

further thing i would like to adress is how MP gameplay is so lame now, cuz u have to choose a cost-effective target u will end up skipping so many lvl230+ bases that will gundown at least 2-3 of ur fighters and cost u 2-3 of ur tactics
regardless of the cost, fighters training is the worst problem in this game, and is the main limiting factor in my raids, silos setting there with 4 max lvl SAMs waiting to keep me away at least an hour
MP used to be much more fun and base difficulty wasn't a big deal
if ur keeping the silo in MP solve fighters training time to make more room for target options

hope this game become less pay2win one day cuz it's not the smartest way to make profits from such a game with big potential

I agree that the retrain part is the best feature for me. It's most useful for war because I can make 2 attacks in minutes. While it does take trade goods, it doesn't reduce the resources needed to retrain. I've checked and no oil or food taken which is great though I've had times that not all my planes retrained. Ive had 4/5 jets come back whereas one needed to be trained again. The other perk is that generals are ready to go immediately even after they are wrecked so no 24 hour cool down unless you wreck them the 2nd attack.

The worker reduction isn't part of the update. It is an event but to say it's part of the update would mean it's permanent which this silo/airstrip one is 3 days only.

The slowness of the game is has been that way since the introduction of the silo so not a lot that can be done. The museum has alleviated some of the problems because at least you get more resources. From your description you probably have a high medal count. I'm 222 cold war and have found that it moves fast at about 1k-1.5K. If you're in a high league of course the opponents are going to be tougher.

This game has always been a P2W but just increasing more so over time. Every new feature that game gets is just another way to improve P2W.

One thing that I also like is that rewards for watching the videos. The videos are a little faster but the rewards have increased a lot. Before it was 3 crowns minimum and now it's 5. That being said I normally get one rewards that gives 40-75 crowns so quite a huge jump as least for me.

yea it actually costs trade goods, however glad that generals and tactics got taken care of

yes i am in high league but that's not an option for me, league boat and daily chest became essential part of the game for me and if i stay in low leagues those two will be useless
but in both situations u will have to look for an easy boring to attack target for cost benefit problem

this game wasn't pay2win i played since the release and it was very fun and entertaining although no WW was there
when WW introduced i reach top 20 alliances till nexon decided to make elephant archers the mainstream for gameplay by nerfing tactics and serial buffs to defense
even the museum which has the potential to become a great feature will be a curse when it becomes active in war and will make the gap far worse between payers and non payers
but anyway am playing for fun not going hardcore as i used to be, if things change then welcome if not then am playing for fun as i am

The real problem at CWA is you keep climbing medals by medal droppers so you need to waste literally 30mins to an hour to drop before actually raiding.... It would be awesome if players could 'forfeit' medals....

The option to forfeit medals will have a bad effect on the entire playerbase.

It's true it takes time to even drop medals but regardless of the base I don't skip often unless. I just get my raiding army on which is just heavy infantry, raiders, wall breakers, and such than proceed to drop medals that way. Every base has something on it that can be stolen. Lower medal numbers means more abandoned bases so farms, caravans, and oil wells will have all the resources. I even go after storehouses and command posts if they are out in the open because it's all useful. I know it's not much but it makes me feel like the medal dropping is going well. Even if all I get is food and gold in the few seconds, it adds up to me upgrading a few walls to cold war so I find it worth it. The little bits of oil add but really without the museum I'd probably give up. It's true that when you hit CWA there's a huge jump in MP opponents. At 220 atomic with 1k-1.5k medals, it was very easy for me to get oil and anything else I needed. Once I became 221 CWA it became very slow but it's all about adjusting.

New update is great but of course there’s always something everyone’s gonna complain about. No matter what they do or give us no one is gonna be happy. Well I’m happy. My alliance is happy. Shows they are trying. Ya war matchups are shit but there’s an easy way to fix that by opening your alliance and letting new players in.

sileepuppee Maybe for you but with CWA upgrades taking forever and having max walls, I only need little resources and littleoil. Loot only NTGs for war. So, it's a huge annoyance.

nobody will be happy as long as the bad implementations are way more than good ones
everyone look at the whole picture in the end.. is the game fun to play or distressing and requires you to pay too much to be able to cope with others
yea u have to option to play for free but others have option to pay and crush u
ask every single player in top 10-20 alliance if he has to pay or not and u will get the answer why other players are upset

They're not forcing anyone to spend money, the option is there for anyone and everyone equally.
