Dear Tim Soldier I have fully upgraded my MRL MK2 at University and honestly I tried them in different combo and still not good, too slow, low hit points, so it will be nice to get some boost even if you made it during rebalance, higher hp faster shooting and maybe higher range would be useful and then more people will use them.

They've already "buffed" it with rebalance and I still don't see anyone using it. I've tried it though I didn't max the library research but I know it's a tough unit to like. Maybe if they made it go to a higher tier like mk6 but still it wouldn't be used. Our alliance sees them occasionally as a defender in war bases but never used in the attack. But as you said the hp isn't high so they're easily dispatched with planes.

Not worth using. The damage is nice but the time between attacks is horrible regardless of attack of defend. The movement is so slow as well considering it has 4 wheels. The hp is not high that they can't be shot down by planes easily.

Read the description in Library, Advanced Ballistics. The MRL will gain more accuracy in the future. The Mortar troop unit wasn't very good when it first came out either, but got more useful & popular in later Ages.
