300 supplies for $3.99 USD. Finally somewhat realistic pricing. But if nobody buys at this price will Nexon go even lower?

Still not enough to upgrade to a level 3 artifact. Still is still a huge deficit of supplies compared to researchers and benefactors. I have enough researchers to upgrade 3 artifacts to level 4, but not enough supplies to upgrade to level 3. It's backwards.

This is purely anecdotal, but I feel like they have become a little more generous with supply payouts. I often have two expedition choices that pay out supplies (used to only be one), and I've gotten some supplies from victory chests. The balance is still way out of whack, but not as awful as before. My issue is that I don't have any artifacts that are worth upgrading to level 4 (and only one worth upgrading to 3).

Not only is the supply availability still way out of whack with no way to increase that without spending money (shocking from Nexon, I know), Nexon seems to have not thought through the idea that there is no way to improve a museum's artifacts over time except through sheer dumb luck. If I upgrade my museum to the maximum, that doesn't improve the odds of crafting better artifacts, which feels weird to me.

Eventually the consistent players will get some decent base level artifacts and tack on a couple of percentage points to key categories. At that point, they will essentially be stuck playing the museum slot machine (that will probably never pay out for them) just to mine for scrolls, while also being stuck waiting for a slow drip of supplies from expeditions. There is no real mechanism to increase either flow. That's going to annoy people.

OK, I bought the first level of the Museum sale for $3.99, and now I have a useless offer for 4 random 2 star artifacts for $14.99. Absolutely not worth it. But... if I buy it I unlock Museum Madness. I'm very curious what that is. Not 15 bucks curious though.

Someone posted a pic on Facebook of their museum sale. It was $450.

What a great idea. Why don’t we have a casino, Nexon, where we can actually gamble on getting things like artifacts or NTGs or crowns? The higher the stakes, the better the rewards!
All these artifacts and museums and wonders and Uni leaders are mostly representations of the past, when are we going to get something modern?
A casino would be perfect as there is plenty of ‘’chance’’ in this game already: Finding opponents, matching wars, crafting artifacts, getting NTGs, etc.

Does anyone know what you get when you unlock Museum Madness? I would like to click on the sword that is there and get an idea of what I am working towards. I don’t want to have to spend money just to get 4x 2star items just to see what the sword is. If I knew what the sword was maybe I would be inclined to go further. Yet gating things twice, first by a purchase and then not knowing what the next level represents puts me off this sale, and others I have seen like it.
If I could see that the sword was like a legendary item or 5 star weapon I would happily go through the gate but just being tantalised by a glowing sword graphic is not enough for me.

i'm concerned about the 'legendary artifact' feature ... is it only going to be for $$?
this is the only case i can think of where the tactical-game is permanently different for paying players. (not counting consumable units)

I noticed they finally removed the sentence on their "About Us" webpage that read "We believe in play to win, not pay to win". Obviously Nexon no longer cares about being overtly pay to win. Legendary artifacts are without a doubt only pay to win. But at least they removed that statement.

However, it's a big huge bait and switch. I joined this game mainly BECAUSE of their mission statement that they don't believe in pay to win. Oh how wrong I was. This game has turned into nothing BUT pay to win, after being fantastic and balanced for the first year.

I remember something about legendary artifacts only being available through ''special'' events. What's so 'special' about Nexon charging money for an artifact?
Sounds very normal to me.
