I play a lot less recently, as well. In fact, I used some crowns (remaining from reaching empire) to start a 5 day treaty. It's a nice break. And since I have to recalibrate my offense due to all the changes, it helps to let the upgrades move along (tanks and zeps, which I didn't use or want pre-update).

Gail, you don't have to choose, you can bring all your friends along. We've always made it clear that we'll be happy to get all forum members on board. Because we all already have connections (more fun to play with people you know, and hopefully like) and forum members are dedicated and more likely to keep playing than quit.

Anyone who reads the forum is welcome to join us, no invitation needed. There's a medal range alliance for everyone, but we are all connected on the same line chat, irrespective of the usa elite alliance we are in.

And we grow players into top players, we don't recruit them

Yes bugs is part of the software industry and all you can do is fix them as they come. What annoys me is having to deal with CS where it is obvious the bug is affecting your account directly, has a big impact (village swap, broken peace treaty, battle victory crashes etc...) and they fail to compensate fairly.

If you aknowledge the bug, give crown compensation as a regular practice, not when you need people to argue 10 times or more before making a gesture.

I thought the way they handled the food and tactics bug was good. Fix it quickly and give 300 crowns. That was fair. But most of the time, you just get an automated reply and they just try to close the ticket with an automated response.

I play with the bugs, but I need some compensation when it affects directly my account.
