All Tower, Ballista Tower, Cannon Tower and Anti-Tank Gun upgrade costs cut in half for a limited time! Safeguard your town from enemies with upgraded defenses! (Event lasts from 11 PM UTC 11/19/15 until 3 PM UTC 11/23/15.)

WTF!!! it is not a good idea! I spent my gold and food to build up these building for the full price! but now somebody can spend a half of full price and have the same result. It is not a fair play!
Nexon, you have to compensate some goods and foods for players who already build these towers!

Parmenion: actually smart retailer that are customer obsessed like Amazon or Nordstrom do refund if you ask. You can't argue it's stupid to ask.

it's absolutely incorrect example regarding shop's sale. In this game we are compete to each other... and some players get advantage...when you buy something in a shop you are not compete to other buyers.. feel the difference

It'll be my Engineers that will benefit most from non-working cannons, seem a little vulnerable to them!

Its a promotion! Its not like they dropped the cost permanently. Despite all the problems I've had with the game I think its good that they at least do something to help move the game along and make it more competitive. If people take advantage of this, at least for a few days you have a better chance of getting some easier victories with people upgrading. Hopefully they will do a promotion on walls as well in the future.

Stop complaining whiney babies. Its a game they can and will adjust the price of walls some day. Probably make it food or gold to upgrade.

Maybe u should just stay lvl1 walls until that day. Or u can grow a pair of balls and play the game as it is.....

Or should i be compensated 2 billion gold for the walls i upgraded for full gold price?

All my towers are upgraded as are many other players theyll get nothing out of this event. But u dont hear the top players whigning about it. Only newbs looks a gift horse in the mouth. Top players are past the point where these things help and dont care

I wasnt complaining or whining about walls. Whether they do or do not drop the price or change the way they are funded is not a big deal. I was simply stating that promotions are good for the game. There will always be ones that some people like, dont like, find useful, or find irrelevant.

Cost discount (gold or food) isn't an attractive offer except for walls. Reduction on number of citizens required for an upgrade are far more attractive.

Not everybody. I haven't. I think it's an excellent gesture to more casual players to offer them the chance to upgrade some of their buildings. I am one of those and for what it's worth: I'm grateful for this event and it pulled me back into playing it a bit more this week.

Lol, I've got 1 tower and 3 antitank cannons upgrading, so if you could all avoid attacking me for the next 9 days while the upgrade finishes, I'd appreciate that.
