New event proved developers don't listen

Demolition spam on oils was an issue that has been around since... Well, ever since we had oil and demolition.
You can't defend against it, removes the actual effort of attacking a hard base to get good amount of oil.
Yet, without addressing or fixing the issue, they launch another event that reduces tactic training time so people can exploit the demolition hit and run even more.
While I do agree that dominations is one of the best mobile game I played so far, I do get a feeling that it is trying to choke itself to death every time I check on it.

Using demo on oil is really annoying that's a given. But reduced tactic train time is more of a blessing than anything; it just has the unfortunate side effect of benefiting those who exploit the feature.

Personally I'm keeping my oil levels below 50k until the next update comes out to deter attackers.

Just FYI, did you see this, in the last dev post?

Another upcoming change driven by player feedback will be to the Demolition Tactic. We will be greatly reducing the amount of damage that Demolition does to resource buildings. The purpose of this is to prevent attackers from simply dropping a few Demolitions and walking away with your hard-earned Food, Gold, or (especially) Oil without even trying.

The best thing was just after they announced they were going to nerf demo on oil in the future, they gave us an event that specifically gave us a discount on demo upgrades and training. Not this event, but a month+ ago. They are just playing with us.

If you move to a higher league (>2000 medals), you will not be faced with this problem. I am currently in the Dynasty III league (2600-2800) and I hardly ever get attacked by 5-6 demolition tactics for my oil. It happened only twice ever to me.

Well here's the thing. Good that they addressed the issue but not fixing it before releasing an event that encourages the issue they addressed? What is the point than?

They probably have a calendar for these things in advance, rather than delete the event it's just run as part of the overall program. At least, that's how I imagine it all works.
