a lot of new players dont seem to know this important detail
after you have been raided, you most likely need to rearm your traps by clicking on them (if they were used in battle)

otherwise, they wont do anything in the next battle
i noticed many unarmed traps when levelling

their not really worth rearming imo. one time use..:even if they do help u defend once while ur sleeping. that just means ull get hit again and lose resources twice. best to take ur loss completey on first attack and have peace treaty

Gonna disagree on that dbuk, its a minimal cost to rearm and they can help turn the tide of battle...unless you arent raiding a lot of resources then yeah you would be better off with not rearming and taking the peace treaty.

I believe they are worth re-arming, depends on your level. If you're getting wiped out, then not much difference. If you're starting to win a few, then it's worthwhile at that point. The more you upgrade them, the stronger they get. Especially the traps with troops - if you place them well, they can slow down groups of troops, and help with Cat splash.

i guess my argument is if ur not capable of winning without traps then at best they help u win one battle(lose resources) then the next battle u lose like normal and lose resources and finally get that peace treaty that will actually protect u.

That first raid is often the most important one at lower levels anyway, since you are likely to get a treaty out of it. Traps can slow down the attacker just enough to get less res, you still likely end up under treaty, so one use is all you need in many pre-classical defenses

thats a real small window were aiming for with those traps. where they stop full resource loss. but still walk away with a treaty.

if you are getting raided, winning the match, and still lose resources, the problem is your base design.

smartly placed traps are important for lowering damage, speed and killing cavalry
