Nexon fails at math again

The sale today has 3 Ka-25 troop tactic cards for $3.79. Or, you can spend $18.99 to get 8 of the same cards. Doing the math, you're paying far more for the big bundle, which most people would assume always gives the better value. In fact you're almost paying double the rate of the small pack! This is not the first time they have done this crap.

Maybe I'm giving Nexon too little credit. Perhaps they are not bad at math, but this is an intentional plot to fool players into spending more money. Just like the Marco offer of crowns for a silly howitzer recruit, this offer lures the player into assuming something at the expense of increased cost.

Either wat it is bad, deceptive marketing vs bad math/programming skill.

Both of my accounts show the same rip-off. TinSoldier deals need to be properly scaled.

Example:

Tier 1 deal is X at cost Y
Tier 2 deal is 6X at cost 5Y (yields 1 free).

gives incentive to spend more.

Math is wrong for me too, in Brazil. The big bundle is more expensive.

Clearly, Nexon is aiming these sales at the 13-16yr old I-have-my-mother's-credit-card-and-I'm-not-afraid-(or-sensible-enough)-to-use-it demographic.

It is clever marketing. Players do the math and think they are taking advantage of a mistake when they buy the small packs. I bought 5

Don’t you get other things with the cards? Like right now they have EAs with betrayl and other stuff. Could it be that theres more of the other stuff when you get the bigger package? My in app purchases are off so I don’t see prices or even really pay attention to these offers.
