Nexon is on the wrong way

It is easy to guess what is in Nexon’s mind for its business model:
  1. Ridiculous long upgrade time to force player rush upgrade with Crowns.
  2. Ridiculous Threshold for CWA, to force player rush upgrade with Crowns. (Again)
  3. Non-stopped discount to attract player rush upgrade with Crowns. (Again)
  4. Keep buffing Defense to entertain Pay to Win Players
  5. Keep buffing Defense to force player buy troop tactics
But market give an opposite feedback: Revenue keep going down.

Nexon is on the wrong way: most game’s revenue is proportional to players’ online hours, but Nexon is doing the opposite way:
  1. Long Upgrade time: online less
  2. High Threshold : no intension to online
  3. Cost Discount : raid less
  4. Easyly losing troop : offline and wait for retrain
  5. Free Troop Card : No need to buy troop cards
For me, it is a realy stupid business model and market already prove it

The solution is simple: Shorten Upgrade time to make, Keep resource requirement high, buff training bless (extend to aircraft and tactic) but cost crown,
Nexon should learn how to earn money from troop retrain instead of rushing upgrade

It is not surprised that most company over-estimate their customer' purchasing power and react slow, But market will give them a good lesson

Shortening of upgrade times without discounts will promote hardcore farming and damage casual gaming. I'm not sure that it will be good in terms of playing and also in terms of Nexon's benefits. For me (casual player) discounts are one of the most interesting and useful things.

With an HT army and the goal to upgrade walls, I find myself spending hours a day farming for those walls. I like the long upgrade times, gives me the time I need to get the resources for those walls and the next building upgrade when one is done. What I do dislike however is the increasing in needed workers for upgrades.
I like how you criticize the game for attracting pay to win players yet you suggest a buff for the training blessing that will train aircraft and tactics better but at the cost of crowns. Where are you going with criticizing the model of free troop cards? Though it may be a lower level than those that are paid, at least there is a way to get troop cards without spending money.
I've been playing this game free to play since day one, maybe I'm just a casual player because I don't extensively war but I personally think my base looks badass with basically max global defenses and 2/3 walls max global. But you know, I'm one of those players who don't rush because I like to prolong my enjoyment in the game as long as the game has to give me.

add to this that the free cards they offer is no longer worth anything if u use them against one of those hardcore p2w bases, an army of impi or shooters will die in a single mortar shot or so specially they keep giving GA cards not even AA in vicotry chest and league boats

also the lack of adding new effective units to barracks and factory and saving strong units like Elephant archers, pathfinders, crab tanks, k25 helios exclusively to $$ worth cards

i never seen a game in which number of troop units developped for premium use exceeding the normally available troop units, this has gone too far, and even offering event buildings which provide +5 space or +1 airtroop space or bazooka tower than inhailates ur army in few shots

all of this reflected on how poor they developped CWA, not a single new thing in this age except a new extra lvl for upgrades, even the 2 new units took their seat in the trash much earlier than ever
the reason is cuz they r busy developping idea for the next new troop cards

now real $ offers became the mainstream of the game, all of the new awesome units and overpowered buildings are exclusively sold for cash and of limited duration so u have to constantly pay to enjoy them, i can even see all of the top alliances players using elephant archers as a 70% composition of their army, 4 cards + full EA mercs, the rest of the army is negligible and the focus now is shifted on bringing as many EA as u can

With shorter upgrade time, you should be maxed GA and move to AA now, I dont see any point you should be against a shorter upgrade time.

and we don't need troop cards at all. Motaz Tarek already give you the explaination. We need troop balance and more troop space but not troop cards

Farming is not that hard, some friends doing one hour farming per day, still got more than sufficent resouce to upgrade. his only complain is about oil.
But there need to be something make difference between hardcore player and casual player, right?

I'm sorry for not being exact in definitions) farming = farming oil. I did all aa oil upgrades only on discounts, and so did many of my alliance members. At the moment there are two differences between hardcore and casual - walls and attack skills ( the last is optional). For me that's enough:)

Oil Raid is not that hard, an average AA player should be able to collect 30K oil within the effective period of training bless. There are different ways allow you to archive the goal.

The difference could be, a causal player should be able to upgrade one oil item for each week, while hardcore one able to upgrade 3.

Revenue already give Nexon a clear answer, more PTW feature, less Revenue.

At time EA being the last age, Dominations making several hundred thousand daily, but when they decided to increased the upgrade time to ridiculous 10 days in Industrial, revenue dropped.
Mistake continues in GA, in AA, and in CWA.

After CWA, daily revenue is now about ten thousand only.

I am afraid I wont be able to upgrade into CWA before the game close, though I am only 10 levels away from 220.

I'd be surprised if DomiNations makes it past 2019. http://www.pocketgamer.biz/data-and-research/65587/deconstructing-dominations-ltv/

I just checked the stock data for Nexon - they are doing quite well. So I hope to see the Space Age and I hope it won't have lvl 300 threshold))

I'm sure the game will last, even at 10k/day revenue. It's not like BHG works on this game exclusively. So they'll dedicate a skeleton crew for a few hours a week maintain it. I wouldn't expect much in the way of fixes, security upgrades, balancing or innovation though. I also wouldn't be surprised to see more I.C. errors and gold circles as they divert more server load to newer, more profitable games.

At this point the game pretty much runs itself, why bother to shut it down?

Those that continuously focus on the negatives & make ridiculous claims abt knowing Nexons revenue stream without providing any proof at all do not speak for the majority of the players in this game. I saw critisism of FREE troop cards, you must be joking, if you don't like them don't use them, they didn't cost you any money. The vast majority of players just get on with the game & are happy doing so.

I agree.
To those with the crystal balls, you know, the ones making the claims about Nexon's demise, can you please PM me the numbers for next month's New York Lottery?
