No match after 24 hours searching for war

Title says it all. Anyone else experiencing long search times?

We had instant match 2 days ago. It will be over a few hours later so we'll see. Is it due to new matchmaking system?
Or maybe just there are not enough alliances searching war with similar strengths

please be more specific about your post. title is not enough to understand your problem. tell what all composition you are searching etc. we had instant war with 20 V. around 9 CWA, 6 AA, 2 IA and bags.

Also specify which region you are searching from. as matchmaking is server side there can be issue with that specific server.

Not sure many teams search at 40, especially with that distribution. The title is misleading as if war search is broken. If you try to find a match at 40 or 50, you may never find a match because no one else is searching at that range.

Spent 12 hours trying to match. First with 25, then with 20.

Like I said before matching software can not overcome lack of players willing to do ww. This is the “loss” factor I was warning about that was poopooed by the forum white knights. Less players=less fun=less players=less fun

This morning the match took ~20 min., which is longer than usual (instant) for a 15 person war. Got excited that it was going to result in a decent matchup but after the wait ... +68/-711, but the actual bases look closer than that so we'll see.

At 25 and 20, it's taken at most a few minutes to match. At 25 it was an instant matchup though it was 6 iron age bases and 6 270+ CWA on their side and we ended losing a loooot of glory because of that. From what I've seen throughout my warring is that generally 25 and under is the most player just because they can be manipulated moreso with sandbags (Not to say every war is like that for us though moreso for other).

I did not even know wars could reach 40 people I guess because in all the time I've been going to war, our alliance has never had enough. We could push 30 but some inactives in there. It has to be because of the amount of people. Before the update we would be matched up with similar level alliances though the glory would be random. 2 wars into the update, it was a lvl 11 and a lvl 10 alliance (We are just about at lvl 13) so I don't know if the update changed the matching as well.

I am astonished that you've managed to find 40 vs 40s for this long without fighting the same teams repeatedly. A year or two ago it wasn't difficult to find a decently matched 30 relatively quickly. However, they spent most of 2018 seemingly hellbent on driving away casual and intermediate players and the results of that are certainly showing in the war searches now.

I honestly wonder what percentage of ''active'' accounts are sandbags nowadays. 3%? 5? 10? The indifference towards war matchmaking shown by the devs for 2.5 years now will always be perplexing. As Blood said, it may be too late to fix it in any meaningful way now. Couple that with the overly large hidden variables from the museum and the seemingly intractable problem of cheating and folks may be referring to these as the good old days by next year.

We have had no problem finding matches before now. It is a small pond, and shrinking. We fight the same alliances frequently, and lately all tough ones. Still, one long search might just be an anomaly. If it keeps happening I will use all of your suggestions. Thanks.

Those people are opting out not because of the game. It's their inability to adapt. As my brother said, it was all on you players, not Nexon! Besides, Bad Rabbits here have managed to keep maintaining 40 men war Every top alliance (though cheaters) has too.

Anyways, I think it's because not many alliances wage war at the same time. And when they do, they could have been matched up already.
Try to declare war at different time from usual time.
We had an instant winnable 20 men war match up several hours ago

A long wait with 40v40 is not nexons problem. You need to be realistic with some of you allies and tell them they cant all be in a war. My alliance is smaller and finds marching within minutes, I honestly cant remember the last time I saw the searching page

our current war took less than 5 secs to match !!! and it is a very close match with both teams being amazingly similar in strength....Can't wait to start those battles!!
