I’ve got lots to upgrade you morons I’m saying that I have maxed walls, resources & troops, and the defence crap I’m upgrading takes 2 weeks per upgrade. Tank depots take six workers, Leo HT research takes 7 workers etc etc.
THEREFORE - THERE’S NOTHING TO DO.

That’s why I suggested letting us pay off 20% of the time with an additional resource cost equal to the upgrade pre-unbalance. It would have given people something to do and lowered the crown cost to incentivize gemming

Totally agree, it’s tough to find a reason to keep logging in. What a shame. It could easily be so much more.

Just keep going until CWA, it’ll be worth it. Long upgrades and costs, but worth it.
Drop medals if you have to but AA at 205 is like a no-man’s-land. Keep going.
And if you quit, leave your oil outside your walls.

I have a lot of respect for Manifesto’s long-standing contributions on this forum and experience with the game. I’d appreciate him expanding on his idea that continuing until Kenny gets to CWA will be “worth it”. How so?

Simply put: it's always better being the top dog.
Yes, the upgrade times are ridiculous. Yes the game is stupidly hard at higher leagues. Yes the rewards are miserly for 4-5 star wins. But you get better toys and more options. At 205 he's almost there.
Simply put another way: hard work pays off.
